Been reading up on dolby vision

can I plug the video file with dolby vision directly into tv usb and play from the TV and get dolby vision

My last tv was 13 years ago so my knowledge gap on modern smart tv capabilities is limited

Hi need help on "DTS-HD Decoding" written on the TCL website for C645.

I have Onkyo TX-sr252 only have arc.
I am playing the video using TV app. i.e. Just player with portable HDD
Thinking of buying a EARC convertor to get DTS-HD MA by the EARC port to the receiver.
So far i tried DTS with ARC no problems getting regular DTS on the receiver.

I can't test this myself, any TCL owners here able to use EARC using the TV app players and pass the DTS HD MA audio to receiver,

After further reading i realized DTS-HD is different from DTS HD MA

My reference point is a 13 year old tv. So any TV is going to be a step up.

Got the 50" C645 recently, its looks good especially in DV.

Bought for RM1470 +- . It think the TCL OS Shopee lowest i saw was RM18k+- for the 55"

RM3k may consider u7k or u6k
