is it worth to give up netflix and youtube for cheaper price?

Well for my opinion and decision, I had buy TCL T7G 75 inch now waiting to arrive.
Netflix & Youtube no issue, I can try to install when it arrive. another option is used Nvidia Shield tv Or PS5.
This TCL T7G 75inch price below RM 5k after discount RMB 1000 before shipping, with 1,000 nits of brightness , 96% DCI-P3 color gamut.

Warranty or backup service i dont really worried due to electric appliance had improve alot over the years, 3 year later if breakdown change again technology hardware & software improved alot as year by year.

yes dont have but there are some ways to install or else get a Nvidia shield tv or Playstation 5 as media player.

Yes chinese here, but main user for the tv is actually my kids, i hardly use it.

their fav is netflix and youtube without them, I will face hell. So to me they are critical.

If they can be sideloaded without any andriod tv box it will be the best.

Then i can consider next tv to get from Taobao.

Anyway to all TCL p725 users do you guys feels the response is a bit lagged 0.5 to 1s? I compared to my old samsung from 2018.

Youtube and Netflix is easy to solve lah. Just buy the Mecool KM2 and issue solved. Save RM5k and spend RM250 on Mecool KM2. It's even better if I buy China smart tv as I get all the China tv programs and external smart tv box like Mecool gives me the western world apps

Btw I don't used Mecool because I'm using CoreElec (CE) on my Android TV box which is even better. YOUTUBE CE don't have ads even though I don't ha veYouTube premium

I had check with TCL china store, they say new TV would have 2 language to choose either in Chinese or English but if used voice command only mandarin.
As in Sideload it is possible example cant install youtube alternative is Smart tube everything is same as youtube. Netflix alternative is alot just what movie or drama you need and quality 4k with HDR+ then get TV box.

My 5 year old son also able to operate TV box know how to search movie ....
Limit TV viewing for young kids, enjoy the moment seeing them play or disturb us adult. Later years go by they will have their own activity and my not close to us.

ah ok, but the local dimming only 200+ zone, i think not enuf la for TV. if monitor probably still can. and their pricing in singapore is also expensive, the 55inch can compare price like lg oled A2 liao.

Rtings found that a 55" Sony X90J had 24 zones. I don't think a 65" X90J is suddenly going to increase by ten times that.

So although it the C835 is mini LED and have what you said 200 zones, it's not the only feature that can make the TV look good or bad.

how much did u get ur 65C725 if u dont mind sharing?

Finally my TCL 75inch T7G arrived.
Some challenge need to over come then install.
1) Cut AC connector to UK adapter with fuse protection in case incoming power overload.
2) Need 2 person to lift up and install TV leg bracket or wall mount.
3) Difficult to initial setup TV due to need China phone no/ QR to activate TV (main difficult solved)
4) If with china apps account would be great.

Initial TV Feel/Feedback.
1) The black color really black like OLED TV and from black to gray to white the progress really good.
2) RGB color was really good very better then LG Nanocell maybe can say close to OLED TV.
3) It does not look dim in bright room as 1000nits screen.
4) Apps can be side load, Dont need google play & Netflix.
5) Youtube streaming with 4k 60fs can be done.
6) Sound quality of Onkyo is good can skip soundbar if dont have.

Done
1) Install artificial grounding on TV.

Future plan upgrade.
1) AC wire can be upgrade to hifi series power cable for better quality.
