gosh! didnt went to city the weekend, and although today is holiday, but it is still raining now, for two days already. sad.gif

anyway, any difference even subtle change to the auto-focusing capability compare to k800i? would be great if there is fine tweaking, but i never come to any review state anything about it. if so i guess it will still have the quite hard to focus like k800i compare to older SE phones then.

youngkies, i personally played with both K800i & K810i
and yup, K800i always give me a hard time especially when I am shooting a macro subject, the AF always fail and my picture turns out to be blurry

I still haven't came across this issue yet with the K810i
but I learn one thing
there must be a certain distance when shooting a macro subject
too near, the pic definately turn blurry
fuiyo
no recordings in da cinema laugh.gif
*
i take that there is improvement then. rclxms.gif

frankly k800i macro mode is quite hard to use, compare to older models.

Anyway,WER THE HELL CAN I GET SCREEN PROTECTOR THAT PROTECTS 100% OF THE SCREEN ~?!? And KEYPAD + CAMERA PROTECTOR IF POSSIBLE?

front cam cant be used to take pic.

screen protector + lens protector : get from martinfield, pre-cut k800 should work if there is no specifically for k810i.

What about nokia? got the same function too? Jusk ask...
*
IIANM, yes to some models with side volume keys. Just press and hold either the volume up or down, and that will lit up the backlight w/o activating the display.

Most phones have this function.Older Nokia phones, such as my 6510 requires u to press the power button. The "press unlock and then *" message will appear for a short while, but it'll light up. But I didn't like that method.I used to press 112,and since it's recognized as an emergency call, the backlight will light up tongue.gif
*
but that will activate the phone. the press and hold side volume button while keypad lock is to lit up the backlight and to display only the clock on standby.

112 activates the phone, but upon pressing any other button after that (apart frm the dial button, obviously) renders the phone back into it's locked position.

I just didn't like the "press unlock etc.." message appearing when I pressed the power button.
*
that is what not happened in SE or samsung or some nokia with side volume button (IIANM).

branding makes the difference

and fyi, K810i uses M2, not memory stick smile.gif
*
M2 is still memory stick, a.k.a Sony Memory Stick Micro (MS M2)

hey.. did anyone try downloading the games from this website? how come after installing.. its appearing so small resolution on my phone?
*
ya as said above some games are made at 176*220 resolution hence smaller in your k810i.

apart of that, you can try to set the display yourself, somewhere in setting>display size to 240*320. if it works, it will fit k810i display nicely, if it is not, nothing much you can do except look for games at right resolution.

erm.. hello everyone..  icon_rolleyes.gif

ive just bought my k810i few days ago.. id say im really satisfied with it..

i dont know if this is in the right topic or not.. but since u all have the phone.. surely u all know about the phone right..

my question is..

1.how to turn off the red eye function ?? (cant take the picture of a baby, afraid the red light will hurt her eyes.. )

2.how about security?? i wanted to change the security code.. but i dont know the default old security code?? i cant find it in the manual...

sorry for my bad english.. and i really appreciate will all of u guys kind help..

rclxub.gif
*
the red light is not caused by the red-eye function. the red light is called AF illuminator, or AF assist light.

the red light appear only in dark condition, to brighten up object to assist the auto focusing part. hence it cant be disabled. however as long as the condtion is bright, enough lighting, the af illuminator wont come out.

the red eye function is the double flash of the xenon flash. it function is to remove red-eye on the human photos.

I really dunno what is the best answer to this question laugh.gif
the camera lens or the lens cover will become loose?  tongue.gif

I have never heard ppl compain about SE lens cover to become loose after long usage.
*
It happened to some k750i, k800i. It is not totally loose, but easily open upon slight initiation (ex. taking the phone out from the jeans, etc etc) compare to new.
