But, you have to think that buying at Singapore, you have to claim warranty at Singapore if anything happen to your phone. Will it worth for you ? If you're working there, then go ahead.

QUOTE(soitsuagain @ Jun 20 2007, 09:28 PM) Ori phones hardly need to repair though. I think the SE service center will still repair SG handsets but need to pay money lor. Better than AP sets which they completely reject. Original set when send for service at Sony Ericsson center will not be charge any sum. But for phone buying at SG which consider AP set for Malaysia Sony Ericsson, they will charge you.I never heard of that Sony Ericsson will reject completely for servicing AP set. Maybe you are playing a wild guess on it ? QUOTE(heizad @ Jun 20 2007, 11:18 PM) Will go down but not that fast If you like it, just buy it. This post has been edited by KTCY: Jun 20 2007, 11:31 PM |

QUOTE(youngkies @ Jun 20 2007, 11:38 PM) no it is true. the reason they reject to service AP set is because, some ppl get their AP set serviced in service centre, and some AP company count that as void to their warranty (when the ppl go to claim, or further servicing fromt heir ap company). the ppl 'beh song', go back to SESC and express their frustration like no ppl business, and hence SESC have the right to refuse servicing AP set, since that might void their AP company warranty. Make sense. But if after warranty period, I doubt SESC will reject it. QUOTE(sonyclie77 @ Jun 21 2007, 12:03 AM) So do I. |

Original and AP is the same thing. They are all original phone produce or manufacture by Sony Ericsson. The only thing different is the warranty. AP is set that brought over from oversea and warranty by some local company while Original warranty is by the Sony Ericsson selected distributor like Thorus, Midland etc.

QUOTE(welwitchia @ Jun 23 2007, 09:01 AM) Thanks pana..but to tell u the truth, i have never installed the SE PC suite, Err, why do i need it anyways? If i wanna transfer pictures i've taken, i just BT them over. So what's the purpose of the SE PC Suite anyways? Actually, if you're not using anything besides transferring files to your phone, you need not to use the PC suite. Even when you plug in the cable, your phone should be able to act like pendrive and change it to removable storage. That's how I transfer large file using cable. |

PM from wartevar
QUOTE hey just wondering did u upgrade yr phone frm k800i to k810i?? K800i keypad will sink too. But I do wonder why people actually care so much about the keypad ? I'm going to buy k810i soon but having 2nd thought on k800i as well... as wat ppl said, k810i the keypad will sink does k800i have any cons?? and the pros over k810i?? really appreciate if sum advise is given frm u...thx Even it sink still can use. K800i cons ? Hard to focus for Macro Mode. K810i will be easier. Besides, K810i slimmer. |

Wotan is not a free server for you to update your firmware. You need to buy credit to use it. SEUS is free

Do you off the 3G network ? It's under setting there. Off it if you didn't use it and your battery juice will last longer.
