Hi,

I was planning to get the LG 29 inch 29Wk600 but then I came across ViewSonic 32inch VX3276-2k-mhd.

VX3276 is bigger in every aspect but cost RM250 more at RM1k. Is it worth the extra money?

I'm currently using a 23 inch monitor. I don't do gaming and don't plan to watch movies on it but my work does require me to open several softwares/window at the same time. The monitor will be connected to my laptop.

Any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks

Haha, yeah I've been seeing cheap LG 29WK600 on Lazada recently. Good value for an UltraWide monitor. A bit skeptical about their claim regarding "HDR" though - panel is only 8 bit with 300 nit.

I just bought the VX3276-2k-mhd tongue.gif It has nice colors and glorious 2k res, you can't find any 2k res monitor at this price range. Bought mine at RM 1099 on Lazada.

You can get it cheaper now at around RM 1050. I can recommend it over VX3209 due to better response time of 4ms. There's a display unit at ALL IT (Digital Mall) if you are interested to take a look at it, and ready stock at C-Zone but didn't buy from them because of lansi....

Assumed that you going to spend 2~3 hours a day in front of your monitor.
I would advise you to get something with height adjustable monitor, treat yourself better, you will never regret until you get try it out.

If budget available go for 300cd/㎡ or 350 cd/㎡. brightness and Non-glare display surface.

Last but not least, eye care function, this really matters for long hours.

Monitor is 1 time investment for the next few years.

Pain for 1 time and enjoy for next few years....

Guys,

I am also looking for a monitor which can support gaming GTX1060 above.

Shortlisted, Zowie XL2411P and VX3276-2K, which is better?
