 More definition instead of bigger?

How can I achieve that ?

More definition, instead of bigger...

Because I prefer lean and toned.

Muscles would only grow in size, they do not get good definition on their own.
Good definition, lean and toned and what not have more to do with diet. 70% diet 30% workout would always apply.

And being a girl, I don't think getting big is something you should worry about, as it's unlikely you can get big without "external help".

But, after I.go gym for 4 months...

A few of my colleague said I look broader or more muscular...

Not gonna say they straight up lie, but sometimes your mind play trick on you so they could be wrong... My gf been with me to gym for more than 1 year now, I don't think she looks broader or muscular. I have been going for about 6 years now, I don't think I have become much broader or muscular, even when I'm actively trying to be so. My point here, 4 months is too short for you to have any drastic changes.

And assuming your colleagues are right, refer back to my previous comment. Look into your diet, you could have just gained some fats...

Edit: by the way what's your training routine like? just a snapshot of how you do things pls, instead of what you actually do. And diet too?

My body fat from 23% drop to 18%, muscle mass increase a bit...

I eat.very little for dinner. Mostly veggie and protein. Almost no.sugar everyday.

From the body fat drop and slight increase in body mass I think u should know that your colleagues' observation probably is not that accurate.

It would seem that you are looking to lose fats, so you are actually on the right track. Don't worry, I haven't actually known women who accidentally got big. Women generally are not genetically programmed to get big..

If you still have worries, in addition to body fat %, weight and muscle mass, also measure your body parts to know if you have gained any inch on them.
