First of all, bookmark this.

Would be helpful if you mention what gears you have (rare, epic, unique) right now.

For starters, upgrade the weapon first. This will be a huge boost to your CP (Combat Power).

I suggest getting an EPIC grade Jaihin Spear which gives you crit dmg, preferably with PBA (Perfect Base ATK). However, it can be RARE and EXPENSIVE depending on server you're on. Refer to the bookmark under WEAPON tab for details.

As for the rest, you can also get EPIC grade. It doesn't matter if it has a max stat or not.

Next you want to at least get all the EPIC gears to 5 Stars (at least) and 10 Stars (at most) when you have sufficient mesos. 11 Stars and above will have a big chance to break or failed so be careful there.

Level up your gears to level 15 whenever you can, doing this requires ALOT of powders and sacrificial gears.

As for Jewels, you have 2 sets of Jewels setup available from the start. I recommend using the 1st setup for Yellow EXP and the 2nd for Red PHY ATK. Use the Yellow Setup for leveling and Red Setup for Expedition/Nett/Elite.
