Hi all
I'm having a slew of bad luck . 3 months back I made my biggest purchase of my adult life so far.
A 2011 kia forte ! I was happy
2 weeks of ownership later i I had to change 4 tires since they're cracked.
2 weeks after i changed my tires , i popped one the tires ( the lorry in front of me dropped something hard on the ground )
and today
I hit a pothole and my other wheel has popped. I mean ...Jeez
and this time according to the mechanic , the rim was damaged as well .
We checked the spare ... and it was damaged also . So tough luck for me.
Anyways since it'll take time for my rims to be found , ill have to use a cracked rim atm.
Sooo is it safe? I can barely feel anything when im driving , and is there anything i should be aware of? other than just drive slower haha

QUOTE(chinteck79 @ Jul 26 2018, 10:41 AM) that is not a big issue. just change after market rims. easier than u get back the ori rim. I think u better change car. either this car is damn bad luck for you or your skill suck can pothhole till crack rim and blow tyre Haha , pretty sure it's a combination of both.

QUOTE(unitron @ Jul 26 2018, 10:57 AM) cracked rims or bent rims ? Having been in situation where finance is tight, I totally understand the need to stretch it a bit further. Of course change to new or even 2nd hand rims is the safer choice. But depends on how big is the damage, and where is it located. It's by the side of the rim, i find it to be rather minor actually but the foreman said it's best to change
