QUOTE(Omochao @ Dec 12 2018, 12:44 PM) anyone bought any micro sd card for smartphones? Am looking at 64gb variants, but can't decide as there are many fakes on Laz & Shopee...any good recommendations? ookas/monodigital. Buy samsung for longer warranty and exceed spec speeds. Sandisk has shorter warranty and they rarely exceed spec speeds. specification speed =/= printed speeds. for example U3 specification requires 30mbps write, i've seen my samsung microsd go upto 70mbps write. my sandisk always 30-40mbps max. both are u3 cards around the same price. QUOTE(BenYeeHua @ Jan 16 2019, 06:25 PM) Because he want to having the TAC code sent to email instead of SMS, which is not possible for security issues, as people can steal your email easier than a phone. Please educate yourself. There is ZERO security for SMS. Provided that the OTP/TAC email is encrypted in transit, it is way safer than SMS, as someone still needs your password, and your second factor if enabled, to steal your email. SMS can just be redirected by a hacker to his own phone by just knowing your phone number, which is easily available as long as you have posted your phone number online somewhere. Or more traditional methods, by stealing your ID and requesting a new sim card via telco, which is more effort, but not that difficult.
