Because now laz , there is a lot of fake item from china.If laz doesn't sold to Alibqba , things will be under control and more voucher for us.
The culprits or not it had to have a policy returning.
Laz should come out a way to fix it.
I don't know about US amazon policy , but as for laz , we sure need to fill up a form for a reason to return.
If something like amazon it's more on 4 parties problem.Seller , Amazon policy , shipping company and Buyer.
If there is a policy like
1. Seller need to record the the packing process to seller + sticking a special wrapping plastic.
2. Amazon setting up a cloud storage for seller and buyer uploaded.
3. Amazon should request seller/buyer to buy an Insurance for shipping if item price is above > 500-1k or something.If item receive , the insurance 99.7% $ will be release back to both buyer/seller.(Insurance take 0.3)
4. Buyer should record unboxing video process and tested working product and can be upload to amazon cloud
5. If buyer doesn't want the product and still unwrap - deduct 0.5% of the product price.If unbox deduct any amount %<10% set by seller.Deducted will be return to seller
Simple.All parties fair.
Example product defected -Hard disk , Glass broken and etc all cover by insurance company and insurance claim from the shipping company.Who call the shipping company simply through my LED tv and spoil it.Can't they handle product incare ?
Fake product is common - USB , external hard disk and etc , depends on the return policy , keep it or penalty the seller.If seller conned from the distro then file a dispute on the distro.
There is no 100% but at lease can minimize.There will be more of cases like this because of handling issue and fake items and greedy seller/buyer.
