You dont use 直运.

You use some agent like MyBest http://www.mybest.com.my/
Use "sensitive"  channel when shipping.

So far I shipped 2 times Linksys Velop and 1 time Asus AC5300 no problem  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif
*
Is that modem considered as sensitive item? And may i know why TGDS is not encouraged?

Yes. Wireless item.

taobao direct shipping some you don't know which courier company they use in local, do you?
*
Previously bought an wireless modem worth around RM300++, nothing happens. If dnt use TGDS, I can use consolidated shipping right, that 1 can know the local courier used. anyway what is this 经济电商专线? any difference with air freight?

there's acer asspire 3 with ryzen 2500u + radeon 535 2GB gddr5. the thing is the 535 is old 28nm. the onboard vega 8 is probably better. fhd 15.6" ips panel
then there is lenovo ideapad 330-15arr 2500u + radeon 540 2gb gddr5. 540 is new 14nm polaris gpu. but i have a suspicion the sodimm ram slot is only single channel. fhd 15.6" tn panel (crap) avoid.

then there's the thinkpad e535 above.
my sister didn't want another thinkpad, she uses one from work.
so had to get intel smeltdown cpu. sweat.gif

your only choice is an acer nitro 5
https://www.lazada.com.my/products/acer-an5...s542799391.html

rx560x. full 1024sp polaris gpu. 4gb gddr5. performance is between gtx 1050 and 1050ti. dual channel memory. 15.6" 1080pee ips panel. red backlit keyboard for full rice.
pretty worth it if you can get with lazel250 or lazel300 (buy ram together to make it 3k)

dell and hp ryzens are expensive portables.

look for 2500u or 2700u.
2200u or 2300u are 2 cores 4 threads. bleh. not gonna be a corelet in 2018. i've had it.

HP PAVILION 15-CS0033TX ok? I decide to buy this, just for normal use only.

i bought the same model.
i've check it out at harvey norman.
what i don't like straight away is the silver paint on plastic palmrest.
paint on plastic will fade and easily scratch. if you type a lot, get a palmrest sticker.
glossy screen but liveable.

what's good?
15.6" 1080p ips panel. though it's not as good as xiaomi or huawei or apple laptop screen. ~65% srgb according to reviews.
quad core 8 threads.
mx150 gpu. which is gtx 1030. it's ok and can still play gaymes.
2 fans. 2 heat pipes. 2 radiators. so you can expect it not too throttle so much.
fashionable thin bezels. makes your laptop footprint smaller too.
top firing speaker.

if you can top up a bit, get gaming pavilion 15 i5.
aluminium palmrest.
higher tdp cpu.
gtx 1050.
matte 1080p 15.6 ips.

reminder.
use paypal and don't forget shopback. rm191 rebate.  brows.gif
*
Thanks for the review bro. Why must use paypal? I decide to use wire ( M2U) and shopback how can get RM191? My calculation is 7% x RM2324.75 = RM162.70. I feel like wanna buy via rebatemango (10.5% CB) but i scared it become untrackable later.

scroll back a bit for my experience.
wire doesn't work at all. at the time i tried.
the cashback is counted before coupon. so 7% x 2735.  brows.gif
paypal guaranteed to work.

if cashback doesn't track, call hp and cancel. mine tracked really fast because instant payment with paypal.

i had 2 weeks to get the deal done. you have 2 days.
so yea, just sign up with paypal malaysia and link your credit card.
*
I tried just now ( wire transfer) and order success, receive order confirmation in my email. Now just awaiting me to transfer the money to their account and send the receipt to them. However i checked my RebateMango click history, there is no clicks history recorded. Thats why i still not yet proceed with the payment. blush.gif

laptop arrived today.
i haven't bought any ram. because ran out of coupons and cimb lazada rebate. maybe on 9.9 or 11.11.
only m.2 ssd. even that is just the cheapest 120GB western digital sata instead of nvme. adata 128GB nvme is rm159 though. but kingston a1000 nvme is rm230 for 240gb.
booting it up the first time is ridiculously slow. we've been spoiled with ssd. sweat.gif
speaker is better than lelnovo thinkpad. top firing helps. good for a laptop. can't compare to muh bookshelves.
i think if you ran out of coupons try getting a ssd first. it will improve your experience more than double channel ram. unless you want to play a gaymen right away. maybe go for ram.
the stock ram came as a samseng ddr4 2666MHz 19-19-19-43.
although i5 8250u only supports 2400. so it run at that. could be useful if you wanna resell as a pair.
2400 sodimm is ~rm145. 2666 is ~rm165.
just get this.

I bought SSD 1 year ago but still havent use ( bought because glitch price last time). This SSD https://www.lazada.com.my/products/sandisk-...-s13570298.html suits right?

I just use for microsoft office, youtube and surfing only. Not for gaming or heavy stuff. Should i upgrade the RAM? I just need the laptop can handle multiple tabs, starts up fast a bit and no lagging.

1 year?  doh.gif
you have to take out the hdd for that.
i bought for the m.2 slot. so i can leave the hdd in.

surfing, depends.
i have about 200 tabs opened on firefox with tree tab. it's using around 5GB of ram.
if you can afford, just buy.
if you can't just wait for later.

Which SSD u bought? Got link? I wanna buy a reliable SSD but dont know how to choose lol.

ok, bios need an update. easy.
firmware too.

about the display. i noticed vertical banding between the pixels in the colour blue. it's not a flaw. it's the lcd design. didn't notice it at the store. could be worse. so live with it.
other colours fare better. just blue.
a flaw is the chassis under the sd card reader is bent.  bangwall.gif

welp. opening the bottom panel is  bangwall.gif
even with my plastic prying tool.
be prepared to scratch the bottom panel edges. it's plastic. top is aluminium.
be careful at the sd card slot.
soft metal. i bent it even further. pushed it back in, now it's warped.  bangwall.gif
i gave up to pop it out entirely. there's enough gap to slot in my m.2 ssd. so in i go.
no screws provided. not that i can screw it in anyway.
if in doubt, cellotape. devil.gif
ram might need to open the entire bottom.
your 2.5" sata ssd will need to pop open the bottom. good luck.
haha.

this guy has the same model.
bios option is sparse. nothing special, can't set new tdp etc. you can turn off the fan and let it kick in when necessary. by default fan is always on.

some testing with intel xtu.
boost is locked to 25W and 28 seconds max. that's it. you can't increase it. after 28 seconds throttle to 15W.
you can still undervolt your cpu.
i'm in the process of finding the stable voltage. -0.090v offset let the cpu hovers around 2.8-3.1GHz at 15W not bad. default settings, it would hover around 2.5-2.7GHz
if you need more power please get gayming pavilion with H series cpu. that is a 35w tdp cpu. probably can get a sustained 4.4GHz with undervolt  icon_idea.gif
