It is Lazada problem since Ali buy the who laz.The item on the cart still free shipping from china.All the local seller never take out the shipping price.
Example ,
1. China seller -> Cost rm15+commission -> Shipping to Malaysia and direct to buyer rm15 = RM30
2. Local seller -> Cost rm14 -> Shipping to Malaysia direct to seller rm15 -> below 1kg seller bear the shipping rm5 direct to buyer -> earn extra rm2 (because laz commission )-> rm36
3. Laz set this month no free shipping but remove commission
4. Local seller never remove the (bear shipping rm5 and commission ) and maintain rm36 + laz shipping rm4.90 = RM 40.90
5. China seller still rm30 because they direct shipped to buyer
So as result problem arise.Laz going to earn back the $ though shipping cost but no more commission for seller for certain item.
Problem are directed to Local seller who didn't minus shipping cost and commission.
So that is how Laz going to side China seller ?

And also , is it weird laz remove free shipping cost and at the same month shopee remove the free shipping and limit buyer for 3 shipping voucher a month.Anyone know what happen ? does SST 6% was the main result for both of them remove free shipping ?
Guess online business need to change platform again due to shipping issue.If a screen protector RM10 need Rm 4.90 shipping.It's really matter a lot or a any item below RM 20 with shipping cost = 25% increase .
You can't choose to do pos express for a screen protector or change to other courier service since those courier service is set and arrange by laz.
Now I just worry , SST comes . Seller never remove the commission + shipping and add the 10% price for the item or 6% for the service.
That is how someone discuss SST will get more price increase than GST.
Because seller stack all together without removing the old GST stack i am not seller so i duno…haha.
maybe china got free shipping because LEL Express.
from china seller to china warehouse, and also china warehouse to malaysia warehouse, then malaysia warehouse to your address, the shipping channel used same with the taobao official shipping, now the vertical integration here reduce the shipping cost.
dont forget china seller no need pay import cost like our local seller, china seller also selling their item in 1:1 currency convertion ratio.
