Obviously that performance was disgraceful and the players should be ashamed that they're paid so much to perform so poorly.

But what I find so frustrating is this is Jose's third season and we're still seeing this. The very least you want at this point is promise. Look at Chelsea's performance against Arsenal f.e. Poor defensively but very promising in other areas. You can imagine that once Sarri has more time with his players they'll sort out the issues and become a formidable team.

We seem different, there's no area of the game in which this team is actually good so it's hard to be optimistic. Sure we win our fair share of games, even against the big teams, but there's not even a hint of a cohesive system being implemented so how can we expect the team to move to the next level and challenge for the title? Plus we appear to be regressing rather progressing.

Let's look at our last 10 competitive games. In them we scored 11 goals and conceded 9, never scoring more than 2 goals a game. Won 5, drew 1, lost 4. I reckon we played genuinely well once, the 2-1 win vs Spurs. Meanwhile we've had (at least) 3 disgraceful performances - yesterday, the last game against Brighton and West Brom.

I don't know how to be optimistic about a team that plays dreadfully far more often than it plays well, has no discernable style, blatant tactical issues and visibly unhappy players and manager. We don't really have the player quality to match City but it seems like for the 6th season in a row United will be playing as less than a sum of their parts and that is really fucking depressing. Sad to think that City and even Pool, are viewed as a better title contender than us. IF this goes on, we prolly gonna be the next liverpool, gloating on past glory while playing utterly bad currently.

Neville: "I speak to people at the club and I think that there is a good spirit in the dressing room. Today [Sunday] is a poor performance. He's not lost the players. I don't think for one minute he's lost the players so I think it would be wrong to suggest that about this game."

But, but, but The Sun said Mourinho has lost the dressing room....

Expect a 2nd loss in the first 3 games.
By Dec we will be in the relegation battle.
How exciting. If we cant challenge at the top, we challenge at the bottom.

Kane and Alli not yet in form, right. If we're solid at the back, then can focus atk. Let's see who's fit to play.

Always change management ain't good. The players need to meet new coach, coaching staff, different playstyle.

Let's see longer how utd to perform. My goodness, social media is toxic when things didn't go well. Real fans, like the away fans at Brighton game supported the team till the end.
