You are looking at hours and complication on individual subject. Some seasonal freelancer sometimes still check here, but most don't look or pm business here due to high amount of people who had no intention to hire professionals and hope to hook college kids up as cheap as possible to save cost.
Which I might add that college who produce local mutimedia student every year is super low as many avoid what they would call "gutter" work that pay less then working in a coffee shop. Garuba post a realistic solution as you will not get anyone to do them cheaper then what he had post. Since designing 1 unique or copyrighted for individual channel usually start at RM300 from freelancers, and more then that if its from professional company. |

It all depends on how much the designer/artist thinks he's worth & how much the market participants think he's worth. The average price between the two will be what is charge.
That's right, what I've just said above is as good as not answering the question! Since there will always be some newbie / student / hobbyist willing to charge almost nothing to free for some exposure or pocket money to buy their next toy. At the end of the day, it's all about supply & demand that drives price in the marketplace regardless of the industry. Unfortunately & fortunately, many marketplace such as fiverr & upwork has been flooded by many hobbyist & non professionals that's willing to charge peanuts & produce mediocre work for their clients. However, if you are the kind of client that wanted quality & professionalism in your project, you can still find good artist / designer, you'll just need to look deeper. Cheers! depends on the work, the problem is not only the same for artists but also programmers too. I am a professional, hence why i disagreed with so many requests because they asked for too much for too little, even when working for companies. I got fired for sticking to whats right in the industry and not complying with their demands for a meager salary and refusal to even smoothen the work flow. They expect us to work in one of the most expensive cities, for a pittance and dont even give us drinking water.
People are refusing to do things right, and i dont mean doing the right thing but the app store is flooded with poor quality apps overshadowing good ones and killing the mobile experience. |
