I’m looking to get something to kill time. I might be playing 2 hours top daily except on my off day of course. No online gaming since no ISP covered my area. So what do you guys think should I get? I like game with long story line and realistic image. But portable is nice too since I commute to work by public transport.

long storyline / realistic image = ps4
selection of games = ps4

Switch, the only really nice title currently is Xenoblade/Zelda series, unless you are into other arcadey game. Portability is good, suggest you browse the game availability for both platform then make your choice from there.

mario odyssey is also nice... smile.gif
another RPG game is the othopath traveller...

but take note that Switch games are expensive (regardless new or 2nd hand) compared to PS4 (where 2nd hand games are pretty cheap)

I’d say mostly single player and I like adventures, RPG and FPS.

Use to be in the same position and ended up with Ps4. Why? Price of switch game is on higher side. On Ps4 60 bucks can get me uncharted 4 with awesome gameplay, graphic, story line. Everything just feels so real. Others older game like COD is really fun to play and most importantly cheap asleep well like rm55 brand new. If I were to purchase switch what game can rm 60 gets me lol

Can see this Switch vs PS4 Comparison
Switch is your best choice if for carrying around and killing time, but u do need to worry about the battery time, its battery life can only last for 6 hours,
But switch screen resolution is not so good as PS4, PS4 graphic better!! Games also cheaper hahah

I have both. Honestly nowadays i play Switch more. There are tons of great games for it. There isnt a lot of "realistic graphics" games, (either power or portability, can't have both, no magic). But a lot of remastered ports of these previous gen "realistic graphics" games like Assasin Creed 3(i think, lost count), Darksiders, HellBlade Dragon Dogma (not sure if this is new game or port). Etc.
Nowadays, i find realistic graphics games too stressful....Switch brings back the fun in videogaming.

Generally, the games are more expensive than PS4 for AAA games, but you can buy used games for RM1xx or so. So its not that bad. I got my Bayonetta 2 cart for RM80 used.

Switch all the way if you wanted to be portable. But game choices are way lesser than PS4 of course. I'm playing zelda for a year + and i still have long way to go.

PC For life! But I agree with most other posts here. PS4 is great for dramatic and lengthy story driven games.
