Most of Maybank CC will give you 1X Treatpoint worth only 0.2%, if you intend to withdraw cash at ATM, the cost is around 0.2% (RM6 service charge, assume you withdraw RM3000), so you are wasting your time.

Only Visa Infinite and FC Barcelona Visa Signature give >0.2% reward/rebate.

go to hong leng straight withdraw 4k 2 times, use this 8k to earn another 1% . cc cb or point is just bonus.
make sure hong leong branch next to you or nearby you, then it will be perfect.

Why go withdraw when they all accept card everywhere XD
I just back from korea and most of my transactions are done by BigPay card also.

Unless you dun exchange some before hand sad.gif
I think asal u dun withdraw from Airport ATM should be fine.
*
because it is better to have cash on hand. I go with a group. example if we need to buy entrance ticket, then one person pay first, the rest pay him a cash.
or sometimes we go to 7-11 buy small items. takkan also using BP card?
and, I did read some post here. Some shop doesn't accept BP card or they may have additional charges.

Yes, ATM system will show ATM fees impose before click proceed withdraw.

i withdraw from KB Bank in Busan and it charged 3,500 won for ATM fees.
*
Bro, you said the KB Bank charges you "3,500 won for ATM fees." , but , in your image (the BP image) doesn't show that fee?

South Korea has the highest card usage here in Asia. Card is accepted everywhere except street vendors and some traditional markets such as Gwangjang Market. A very small restaurant accepts credit card too.
Yes and there is nothing wrong with that. I have bought just a small bottle of Coke from 7-11 using card before. I first went to Korea in year 2011 and even back then, locals already use credit card everywhere and for the smallest thing in convenience store.

Only in Malaysia people will give you the “are you serious” look when you want to pay for a RM1.20 can of Coke whereas in many first world countries such as UK, USA, Nordic countries, South Korea etc., that’s something very normal.
*
thank you all the bros who provide such useful info. I'm going to seoul & busan, since in korea can pay by card anywhere, then i will use direct use it. then, the exchange rate might be slightly different daily lor.

Yes youtrip is SG version of Bigpay but better.
*
we top up money and spend using bigpay, we will earn airasia big point. But, it seem youtrip doesn't reward any point to holder. which part is better than bigpay?

Airasia points is rubbish and literally useless. Tell me how to u need to spend to be able to utilise the points?

You can exchange money way before your trip. With BigPay you are forced to use current exchange rate. So if rates are cheap,  you can lock in/buy before hand.
YouTrip is memang by SG companoes. So of course they support SGD first. But they are coming to Malaysia soon.
1. I think that you need to blame SG banks for being stingy.
2. BigPay also same. Why would you want to use international card when you can use the card issued by your own country bank? Using another country card to topup is not wise as it incurs additional markup rates by bank.
4. BigPay RM10. They are charing in their currency. So imagine if they come to Malaysia,  they charge RM5.
*
it sound you have no idea how to use a trick to earn sufficient big point to redeem airasia ticket. but never mind, non of my biz. I already redeem 2 free ticket to singapore from malaysia within less than 6 months.
about the forex, unless you are expert of forex speculator. how to you justify forex is cheap or expensive? today you saw sgd to usd exchange is low, who know, next month drop again.

On 6 Jun 19, MC website ex-rate is 1 AUD = 2.922714 MYR

BigPay rate is 2.93 so BigPay is not always cheaper

yes, I also noticed master card exchange rate is not always cheaper than Midvalley money changer. But, if put all in consideration such as:

-How many person have time and money just purposely go to mid valley money changer and bring your hard notes to exchange?
-in bigpay, you're actually peace of mind, you're using credit card top up, then spend it in oversea (take in account the benefit given by cc, and big point)

Only for overseas transaction. Otherwise is pretty useless.
Keep in mind that rebates by other ewallets will end too once they get the dominant market share.
*
why so worry about that, now, it is e-wallet war. always be smart consumers, grab the benefit as much as we can during the war. once it stop, if there is no more grape, then, we just use back the traditional payment method : CASH

If complaint to the BigPay, I couldn't find the bigpay under name of the acquirer in Directory. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif
and also it can be complaint if the retailer/shop charge certain fee if buyer using credit card payment.
But, for this minimum amount spending, can we still make complaint ?

Solved. I saw it.
