I can say for uobpayonline, if you can't get to the OTP page, the transaction will not  be successful.

and in this case, no money will be deducted / hold from BP

its just a matter of time when payonline send u an email with status "unable to process" or "not approved"
*
Seriously, if without OTP, your transaction in bank still can transfer successfully, this is so scary to me.

u go money changer change cash, u secure the rate..
u use bigpay then is subject of daily rate changes..
your call..

and the rates is sometime higher sometime lower..but for us, should be not much different, unless u always go to change RM 100k or 1million
*
Seriously, if you don't care about the exchange rate, you won't even want to use this credit card oversea.

Weird for me hmm.gif hmm.gif hmm.gif hmm.gif when someone tell me they don't care about the exchange rate.

erm...did I say I dont care about currency exchange rate? confused.gif

anyway, whether you are referring to me or not, If ppl can access to competitive money changer rate, then against XE.com rate, they wont care much..
otherwise, ppl will still somehow more or less care..
*
If this card giving better rate than money changer, then I will consider bringing lesser cash but utilize more on the card.

That is why exchange rate is been consider regardless of how small the amount of savings, not only when you use 100k or even millions only you will consider the save amount.

Mindset of milking the cow as fast as possible till it's dry, when we can actually nurture the cow and milk it in a longer period.

Well this will definitely not be long, but at least we don't make BigPay annoyed and immediately implement changes. Letting them change it in 6 mths time is better than triggering them to change it in 2 mths time.
*
I don't this is BigPay concern at all as they still earn whenever you withdraw from the ATM with RM6 charges. At anywhere, they are more happier anyone using their card and services especially those with fees as this is their income, imagine thousands of people withdrawing from the card, how many fees they are earning.

Their current target is enlarge the customer base and once their customer base is large enough, those waive fees till further notice will come.

For other credit card especially cash back benefit, those are the people that might take action instead.

When things are too good, banks will eventually pulled back. Lower CBs, PPL lounge, lower point conversion etc.

For banks, I think they don't really care now since BP user base is not that big yet. But imagine one day when BP size become substantial, those banks will definitely do something because BP is eating into their business

For BP, they don't earn that much from the RM6 charges for withdrawal la. They rather u spend the money to pay for stuff
*
Yes, I believe BP already factor in all this so called abuse by charging the RM6 fees on the withdrawal part. No loss cause for them as their bigger picture was more people owning BP and more people will be using their card in the process. They want the numbers increasing.

If you notice in PB those weekly cashback, even some call to complain and eventually able to retrieve their cashback based on BP topup. So, from here, we can see the bank is not concern on this also as their main focus is the numbers of users and usage rate of the card. But maybe eventually once their customer base and usage rate increase to their target, maybe they will start to revise their features and benefits to increase their profit.

Anyway, this is not our concern, just use based on your own benefits will do. Any suspicious activity will be handle by the bank as some already mention there is risk of been flag out by BP. So my point of view is no use to said you should not abuse or even overuse so called tactic etc as it is beyond our concern.

Don't forget the CC top-up cost for BP, around 1% charged by Maybank. No loss?
*
So? Is that anything for user to be concern of? This is what I mean, they have already factor out all this thing, we user have no concern about their profit and loss as this is their business model.

If it is not sustainable, they will figure out and that is why I said it is already mention there is fees there but as of now will be waive till further notice.

Why need bother to worry about their profit and loss as user just need to concern on their benefits in using the card.

In reality, if the e-Wallets does not have any benefits, people will use credit card instead, why want all the trouble especially when you can wave easily instead of opening the phone etc especially when the staff is not well train in handling all this payment.

I don't understand about all this spoon feeding, sharing and unsharing issue.

People have the right to ask question and if you feel not happy on the question, just ignore the question. I don't understand why some want to waste time by providing non productive reply instead of just ignoring the question. Not all people on the same level of knowledge or even expertise, there is novice or beginner here.

spoon feeding and asking the right question are two different things imo
most ppl are lazy these days
*
This is the issue, like I said, just ignore the question instead of replying as different people have different expectation.

Asking the right question? Based on whose justification and is there even a rules said that? No right? So, it is just plain weird to me when people condemn anyone who they think is asking stupid question, spoon feeding etc.

To me, ask anything you want that is related, who want to answer than answer, not interested to answer/ share, just don't reply, that simple.

well, this is not an issue at all..
whether u are able to withdraw 4K in 1 shoot depends on how many RM100 notes inside the machine, there are multiple transactions in & out on the machine in a day, so it is normal u can do it previously but not now.
*
Is this to said that the atm machine run out of cash? Maybe I will try again next time as I don't really encounter the machine run out of cash before.
