Thanks for the information.
At least some clear information about the fees, delivery time and block of usage for the replacement arrangements.

Will wait for their FOC replacement announcement as I don't rush for the PayWave feature.

Hey guys, newb question here. So regarding the exchange rate feature does it mean that if I use BP to buy stuff online from foreign merchants I'd get a better rate than I would with my debit card?
*
Yes. Not online only but oversea travel swipe also, whenever it involve foreign currency.

Try HLB. 4k usually as reported by members.

There is no statement downloadable. But transaction history in excel format is available for download from BP apps.

Tried asking BigPay when we would be getting our wave cards and this was their reply:
I dunno..this seems like a kick in the face to us early supporters. It's either we have to pay or we have to refer even more people before we can get the newer version of the card? I have been referring many people to BigPay but I guess that's not enough. If they want to impose a charge for wave cards they should do it for all BigPay users...this seems a bit unfair to early adopters.
*
We were already be informed about there will be charge/free replacement later while first day BP Jonathan announced the paywave feature here. But the "another referral program in September" is new and interesting.

Well, on one hand, we've had statements coming from BP's FB & Jonathan himself that BP didn't block Boost. At the same time, we also have Boost CS saying that BP isn't compatible. sweat.gif

On the other hand, I'm totally aware of the few complaints that direct debit transactions at other merchants weren't going through so yea, I can see why you have doubt there.
*
To me, BP speak clearly that they did not block boost. Whereas boost previously can be top up using BP, thereafter mentioned not compatible. If really our assumption meaningful, I would prefer to believe BP instead. But who give this a hook on what we think.

Can anyone done the withdrawal advise on below?
1) Source of withdrawal should be credit card or saving account?
2) I saw cases where fail withdrawal will deduct the amount from the app as well, can i know how long it needs to rectify this issue? Any supporting document we need to provide to bigpay?
3) How do we know maximum withdrawal limit of the ATM machine? Do we just keyin any amount like 3k / 4k?

Thanks in advance
*
1) rephrase your question
2) only one case reported here in Lyn if I remember correctly, best to refer to BP CS for assistance, if you wish to understand for reference, suggest to get feedback from the member reported the case
3) try and error on HLB ATM / CRM that reported will get 4k max.

I benefit so much from this forum and it's time to make a small contribution.
No atm charge when using Bigpay in China.

seems not all China bank accept withdrawal via master card. Workable bank so far are : Bank of China, and ICBCĀ  ( ....).
Only rm10 withdrawal fee applied.

The exchange rate is almost similar to XE.com rate.

thanks for the contribution I'm thinking to gather the Oversea ATM withdrawal charges in post #01.

first question is there are few option to choose from where you want to withdraw your money in the atm screen after u put in the bigpay card
1) Saving acc
2) Current acc
3) Credit Card

Not sure which 1 to choose as i saw in v1 thread, some ppl say credit card and some ppl say saving acc.
*
I think LostandFound has replied you, Credit Card.
I don't withdraw so can't provide more details.
Will add this information to post #01 if no other answer replied by frequent withdrawal users.

QUOTE(harmonics3 @ Aug 27 2018, 09:45 AM)

Maximum amount would depends on the card ATM if you are asking each time withdrawal.

Edit : typo

Just update for first post.
BP is still not accepted in Kuchai Lama Shabu Garden.
Still using some sort of old type Public Bank terminal with unionpay logo as well.

'Transaction declined'

After that i change to MBB BArcelona card, transaction was smooth.
*
Thanks for the update, unsure whether your failed transaction is due to old terminal or recent frequent failure s reported. For the moment will not update first post on the list of not applicable merchant as the culprit is not justifiable. To update the list in current situation might be meaningless and serve no purple. The objective is originally for BP could have a list to check and interact with those merchant to make them accept.

Regardless of the issues with online payments, I will continue to use BP for online spend and report problems with the objective of facilitating improvements by BP.

"Not using for online" doesn't alleviate the problem, as I believe the ultimate objective is for BP to work like a full functioning e-wallet / credit card combo. Through regular usage and reporting, we can see what works well (e.g. Physical spend) and what needs to be improved (e.g. Top ups, online spend). I'm sure this data helps BP focus on areas to fix.
*
Your reply is positive and pleasure, a Like to you

QUOTE(touristking @ Aug 29 2018, 10:03 AM)
I am probably lucky. I never really have any problem with BP. And I spend a few thousand a month, both physical and online.

The only problem I have is not receiving SMS while overseas

But I notice the log-in nowadays is a bit slower. May be system overload.
*
I might be the next after you. Here, cross finger.
Probably i don't have much spending activity after all.

Just taken AirAsia flight to SG, wow, a lot of stickers about BigPay around the aircraft, seats and write up on the Magazine. BigPayJonathan, this must be the marketing works by you! Haha, the expanding is in extreme process.

Suggest to allow foreigner/Malaysian/anyone to apply BP while make flight booking and imagine a lovely stewardess walk over and issue the deep blue envelope with BP to the applicant, feel the privilege.

... decline BigPay: Boost, Shopee, Lazada, Qoo10, Traveloka.....

Guys, are you guys mind to list down if you ever experience payment / top up rejected by the mentioned merchants. So BP would not issue the statement with wrong merchant stated which inviting legal issue.

Boost - yes we have a lot of reports here
Shopee - hit and miss
Lazada - I can't remember there is any report but rather they treated BP as CIMB which could enjoy CIMB card special rebate.
Qoo10 - unsure anyone ever reported here
Traveloka - someone reported, can't remember if is rejected or hit and miss issue

BigPayJonathan, for your consideration.

Other :
Auto debit - a lot failed transaction happen in June and July, settled manually by BP in Aug

The list of not applicable merchant as in post #01, but could be due to their payment gateway used or terminal device is old. But they aren't competitor in any sense, so may not appropriate to include them in this matter.
