In some scenarios, some competitors will put their competing attitude aside and play it fair together just to benefit the consumers, which also will benefit to themselves...

But if that's how yellow man thinks, then good luck yellow man, you come out with Happy Mastercard or Angry Unionpay also won't do you any good.

I just registered a new BigPay card and going to taiwan next month. I got few questions to ask.

1) This card can withdraw in any atm in taiwan or only specific atm?
ATM that have Mastercard/Cirrus logo, which should be very common. But charges could vary because the bank ATm might impose additional charges

2) what is the maximum amount that can be withdraw in a single day?
Per withdrawal - depends on the ATM. BP does not impose any limit.

3) If withdraw in airport, will be there any extra charges or difference rate?
Shouldn’t be any difference.

4) Any special procedure need to do when withdraw through atm? (such as always choose local currency or etc?)
If possible, don’t use the bank conversion - i.e the bank converts for you, and charge RM X to your BigPay.

Just wanna update on the Atm withdrawal at Bandar Sunway.

Only HSBC and CIMB (atm-only without RM50/RM10 label) there allows 3k withdrawals. All other banks only allows me 1.5k. Tested on Monday morning

But when I used BP to pay for the add-on (Checked Baggages, meals), the payment amounts were automatically reduced.

Anyone having issue with withdrawing using bigpay today? Unable to withdraw in the morning. Not sure if it’s a MasterCard issue, as someone there also can’t use their cimb debit card withdrawal.

I managed to withdraw up to rm3950 from HLB machine at one go. Only those with atm and cash deposit.

short answer: just back from RHB branch and got back my card.

First the RHB CS told me whatever card held in ATM cannot be returned and will be send to card issuer, so I need to contact card issuer myself.
I asked her, what if it is oversea card? are you going to send back as well? then she asked me to look for officer in charge of ATM behind teller counters.

at first the officer told me the same, asked me the card got my name or not, if told her no, then she said it's probably due to MEPS failed to verify my name, and the card is blocked (this is not true, BP does not use MEPS Network at all, its going though Mastercard Network instead)    hence ATM retained the card, and they just can't return me the card as they won't be able to verify owner of card, then I told her I know the last 4 digit of card and you have CCTV, your ATM took my card without my permission, why should I pay for card replacement fees? 

Then she went to open the ATM for the card, and called BP to verify ownership, in turn the BP called me back in few mins to do verification before releasing info to RHB officer (and she asked BP if the card is blocked or active! lol!!!). very well done for prompt action from BP CS, sorry I didn't get his name 

Finally I got my card after RHB verify IC with thumbprint and signed for acknowledgment.

If all failed, perhaps need to "remind" them feedback to HQ/BNM.

PS. I confirmed the card is usable as I made a withdrawal from CIMB some mins ago.

That's unfortunate. At least you can freeze your card in the BigPay app.
