If that's really so, then it's not really attractive.

Unless they implement the Paypass feature in the app so we could just use it with NFC to pay for stuffs, that would be great.

Btw, Wechat Pay, Fave, Grab is in the list but not Boost. hmm.gif

VCash, the e-wallet by Y3llowLabs Sdn Bhd (Digi's) allows Top-up with CC and withdraw to bank account, but "You are not allowed to withdraw money that was deposited through your credit card."
VCash - Amex not allowed.
Happy MC should be the alternative form of VCash, both VCash and Happy MC are from the same lab. Physical stores - VCash, Online - Happy MC.
Cheaper if you pay by using BP instead of CC. I performed a few add-on transactions this month.

lol, then expect the same fate as vcash.

In some scenarios, some competitors will put their competing attitude aside and play it fair together just to benefit the consumers, which also will benefit to themselves...

But if that's how yellow man thinks, then good luck yellow man, you come out with Happy Mastercard or Angry Unionpay also won't do you any good.

I just registered a new BigPay card and going to taiwan next month. I got few questions to ask.

1) This card can withdraw in any atm in taiwan or only specific atm?

2) what is the maximum amount that can be withdraw in a single day?

3) If withdraw in airport, will be there any extra charges or difference rate?

4) Any special procedure need to do when withdraw through atm? (such as always choose local currency or etc?)

ATM that have Mastercard/Cirrus logo, which should be very common. But charges could vary because the bank ATm might impose additional charges

2) what is the maximum amount that can be withdraw in a single day?
Per withdrawal - depends on the ATM. BP does not impose any limit.

3) If withdraw in airport, will be there any extra charges or difference rate?
Shouldn’t be any difference.

4) Any special procedure need to do when withdraw through atm? (such as always choose local currency or etc?)
If possible, don’t use the bank conversion - i.e the bank converts for you, and charge RM X to your BigPay.

Not sure, yet to figure out.
But when I used BP to pay for the add-on (Checked Baggages, meals), the payment amounts were automatically reduced.

1) I withdrew from a Family Mart outlet in Taichung in Dec - very good rate as it's lower than the one that I got from a M'sian moneychanger in Oct! Worry not as there're ATMs everywhere in 7-11 & Family Mart, the 2 biggest retailers in Taiwan, & there're also plenty of banks' ATMs where I stayed at in Taipei.

2) The one that I withdrew from has a max of NT$20K.

3) Sorry, I didn't use the airport's ATMs.

4) No special procedure at all as the instructions are all in English. The ATM will prompt you to touch the amount that you want to withdraw. After pressing your desired amount, it'll ask if you want to continue to other services - press NO & the money will pop out plus your BP card.

Enjoy your trip as I did mine. Safe travels. smile.gif

Right. It's kinda like on and off. I bought luggage add-on on 11 Nov and I got discount, but no discount when I bought on 26 Nov. There is discount when I bought flight and luggage together on 20 Dec.

I just tried just now to add on food onto my flight and it showed discount when I entered BigPay card.

Anyone having issue with withdrawing using bigpay today? Unable to withdraw in the morning. Not sure if it’s a MasterCard issue, as someone there also can’t use their cimb debit card withdrawal.

I managed to withdraw up to rm3950 from HLB machine at one go. Only those with atm and cash deposit.

short answer: just back from RHB branch and got back my card.

First the RHB CS told me whatever card held in ATM cannot be returned and will be send to card issuer, so I need to contact card issuer myself.
I asked her, what if it is oversea card? are you going to send back as well? then she asked me to look for officer in charge of ATM behind teller counters.

at first the officer told me the same, asked me the card got my name or not, if told her no, then she said it's probably due to MEPS failed to verify my name, and the card is blocked (this is not true, BP does not use MEPS Network at all, its going though Mastercard Network instead)  doh.gif  hence ATM retained the card, and they just can't return me the card as they won't be able to verify owner of card, then I told her I know the last 4 digit of card and you have CCTV, your ATM took my card without my permission, why should I pay for card replacement fees?  rclxub.gif

Then she went to open the ATM for the card, and called BP to verify ownership, in turn the BP called me back in few mins to do verification before releasing info to RHB officer (and she asked BP if the card is blocked or active! lol!!!). very well done for prompt action from BP CS, sorry I didn't get his name  rclxms.gif

Finally I got my card after RHB verify IC with thumbprint and signed for acknowledgment.

If all failed, perhaps need to "remind" them feedback to HQ/BNM.
TGIF all!

PS. I confirmed the card is usable as I made a withdrawal from CIMB some mins ago.
BigPayJonathan  bravo to BP CS this time

So today is my unlucky day, I did not read this post previously and this sh!t happened to me today! Went to RHB to try taking out 4k, atm said max 2k, then swallowed my card. Bloody bank!

So I called rhb call center and that fella said he can't help me because he is just from call center. I told him wtf this happened at your bank branch with your atm, you can at least help me to make a report....then he asked, so what do you actually want sir? You want your card back is it? (at this point I lost it, if I don't want my card back why did I call? Lol)

Wish me luck on Monday to get back the card. fairylord U might wanna put this as a warning in 1st page to let people know.

Avoid rhb at all cost!

That's unfortunate. At least you can freeze your card in the BigPay app.
