Can we transfer credit to other BigPay user? I try to search in the app I don't see the function.

My gf would be going overseas for holiday and she don't have any credit card. Thinking of applying BigPay card for her and transfer her credits as the exchange rate is competitive and don't need to bring that much cash around which is safer.

When is ur gf going? As applying BigPay might takes a while to receive.

You have to count the provision first.
Else pass her or applying supp card for CC would be faster such as MBB?

Give her one of your credit card as well, big pay not 100 percent reliable
*
Please don't dish the wrong and irresponsible advise here. Credit card is exclusively tied to the card holder (Members may refer this to any issuing bank card T&C). Passing it although with consent is a violation of the card T&C. Attempt this @ your peril.

If the merchant reports your GF (very obvious since name on card is different than person using it), she will is liable for prosecution by the foreign police (I doubt foreign police are more forgiving than MY police) and your card may face cancelation by the bank. Lucky if you are not blacklisted.

She should have a debit Visa/MC and activate overseas usage, Bigpay MC is not 100% reliable.

I am going to Australia & NZ. Total budgeted spending of rm30k, is it safe to bring just rm5000 worth of AUD/NZD currency and 2 BP cards loaded with rm10k each? Will also bring some CC as backup.

refer this as a guide >> https://www.bigpayme.com/blog/whats-the-exc...-rate-on-bigpay

you'll only know the final actual rate after transaction has been settled.

If still long time, best to topup every month. Cause BP limit is RM10k from credit card/month.

AU is modern country. Cards should be accepted without a problem.

Should be more than enough.
But I always activate my Debit cards (linked to CASA) to be used overseas as a precaution - withdraw cash at a foreign ATM at RM12 (though it never happens till today). I can deactivate the overseas usage at ATM/online when I am back to Malaysia.

Hi Guys,

Anyone use Ambank bonuslink CC to top up bigpay before? Does it get rm10=30bonuslink points? If Yes 3000points will be able to redeem rm30 shell voucher. Thanks
*
Hi William, mind to try Ambank Bonuslink CC and feedback to us if the reload to bigpay reward you bonuslink points.
Besides, reload RM1000 to BP to gain 3000 points to exchange a RM30 Shell Voucher, equivalent to 3% sort of rebate, not bad. icon_idea.gif

Will add to post #01 if anyone confirm receive the bonuslink point.

Thanks.

Wallet limit is 10k.
No matter how many months you can top up, the maximum amount at one time in the wallet is 10k...

AFAIK, you are only able to see the indicative rate of a country's currency if you have been to that country before. Usually the moment your phone connect to that country's airport's WiFi, BP will show you the rates. And you will continue to see that country's rate even after you returned to Malaysia.
