Just waiting those cc statement before pump in to do all the trial.

Rm10 +3aud (included) in withdrawl... So it might go above 2k

Luckily westpac ask for confirmation showing the conversion...

It was like 65xx for 2k withdrawal which i cancel immediately.

Today rate is much lower but sifus here say follow us time.. Lets just wait and c whats the final rate will be so next time i can get the eay how it count.

Thanks mate, wait for you to furnish more details once you receive your statement.
Cheers, will fine tune the post #01 while more details received.

(BigPay + other cards) vs Hong Leong AirAsia card (can this be use in conjunction with BigPay?)
*
yes, i got extra point by spending with BP, every RM20 earn you 1 bigpoints and reloading also earn you 1 bigpoints every RM50.

u mean using HL AA card to top up BP?
not sure, none reported this idea, test and let us know if you have the card.

So,

Now BigPay is not applicable on ipay88 and TnG Ewallet, I shall park them under BP's unfriendly merchant list in post #01 and release until they are reported being acceptable.

ya sis, BP is addressing the issue.
lets wait for good news from Jonathan.

aside of this, also waiting BP to update on status of suspension of the main feature - AA luggage and flight meal discount.

that post is quite broad and no facts supporting it. and guess what... after the user posted it, the user went offline since 30 Mar 2018.

in fact, many of use reloading bigpay using multiple card sources, i myself included.
if you worry, then just reloading using your card. simple as that.

Does MOL type of payment block BP? I wanted to do a transaction with RedBus and it is using MOL, can enter BP and received OTP but the page didn't load. Eventually I used online banking instead, luckily it's just less than RM 7. laugh.gif

Anyone else encounter issue with BP on MOL?
Remember previously someone reported and also RedBus.
If really so, need to unfriend MOL liao...

Have not try big pay on other transaction for today, so i have my doubt that red bus do not accept bigpay sweat.gif
*
QUOTE(talexeh @ Nov 30 2018, 10:36 AM)
Yea, redBus seems to be no longer accepting BigPay. Most probably due to card's status as prepaid rather than credit or debit.

Not sure if it's MOL or redBus problem but I feel it's MOL..
Why not buy from Lazada or Shopee? unsure.gif
*
Yup Sis, I will unfriend RedBus in post #01 now.
Since mamamia verified that Starbuck able to be reloaded using BP meaning issue isn't due to MOL then.

well, this is not an issue at all..
whether u are able to withdraw 4K in 1 shoot depends on how many RM100 notes inside the machine, there are multiple transactions in & out on the machine in a day, so it is normal u can do it previously but not now.

Indeed, i have put this notice announced in top of post #01.

Yet, there are forumers attempt and get discounts, seems like hit-&-miss.
Is waiting bro Jonathan to update the status, but I have not checked official FB of BP unsure any official updates, and Jonathan has updated us here in forum, Or did i miss anything?

This is one of the main feature of BP in AA ecosystem, should be addressed at high priority.

just to share my experience on oversea ATM withdrawal in Taiwan. Tried on a few bank ATM. so far these without bank charges
1. Taiwan Cooperative Bank
2. Taipei Fubon Bank
3. Cathay United Bank(Usually you will see it in Family Mart)

All the 3 bank maximum withdrawal is NTD 20k

Bank with charges:
1. China Trust Bank (CTBC) ( Usually these can see in 7-eleven)

rate is surprisingly good. I got around 100NTD = RM13.55
*
QUOTE(giko @ Jan 7 2019, 11:43 AM)
Did the CTBC ATM prompt you that there are charges for your withdrawal?

I withdrew at Family Mart (Taishin Bank ATM) at Taichung on 6 Dec at a rate of 13.57. Interestingly, the slip showed my available balance in NT$ too - cool!

QUOTE(de_ghost @ Jan 7 2019, 12:56 PM)

Withdrawn 30 Omani Riyal at Oman International Airport arrival hall, got charged RM10.

The exchange rate shown in the app is kind of weird.

RM 322.71 + RM 10 = OMR 300 (Should be OMR 30)

XE rate
RM 320.80 = OMR 30

I know, apologies on that. Team is working at full capacity to clear the insane amount of people who've been signing up to BigPay in the last 2 weeks smile.gif We're implementing a way to automatically & instantly approve applications, beta phase will start with the next release! Should make things a lot of easier for everyone smile.gif

And on a side note: BIGPAY TURNS 1 TOMORROW!!!

It's been a crazy, amazing year. Lots of ups, a few storms to weather - but honestly, what a journey. As an employee, I can confidently say it's been the most interesting year of my life from a professional perspective. I come from a banking consultancy background and I was really disgusted with some of the things and practices I saw. BigPay (and cryptocurrencies to some extent) has reignited my belief that financial services, if done right, can be extremely empowering.

We'll be sending an anniversary email, but we're also releasing a new version of the app early next week smile.gif From a design perspective, it's a proper upgrade. Let me know your thoughts once you have it.

February / March will be packed with announcements, so stay tuned for that!

Have a great Friday everyone smile.gif
