Really not a fan of such publicity, LYN still ok still a small group, just don't want it to go viral. Don't know how long this game will last, just like Shopee, now they want to charge 1% fee already, still remember that time when they launched, they said their biz model very different, they don't need to rely on charging the seller fee, now different story
*
Discussions made here could actually cause such publicity, don't underestimate the popularity of LYN, and it's definitely not a small group.

Just tested out my BigPay card on some usage for all reference.

1. Tried use Bigpay paywave function @ watson citta mall. can't detact.
2. ATM CIMB @ oasis square, no withdrawal option, tried instant transfer, not allowed.
3. ATM MBB @ oasis square, some atm can withdraw 30pcs RM100 note. just need to try.
*
Paywave isn't working because you need to perform a PIN transaction first to enable the Paywave feature when you get your new card.

actually i quite pity those cashier, sometime they keep confusing whether this BP card is a credit card or debit card as they need to enter the request to their pos, i also dont know how to advise them. Maybe BP need to take a look on this card appearance next
*
You mean merchants should teach their employees about prepaid cards and also upgrade their POS system to show prepaid cards on the system screen?

There's nothing wrong with the card, there's a "Prepaid" clearly showed on the card.

Usually most employees will just consider prepaid cards as debit cards, which there's no problem with that.

About to go Jogoya later

Should I tell the cashier my card is credit or debit?

so confusing rclxub.gif
*
Why not just say "pakai kad"?

I guess it's self explanatory right? Cashiers will figure it out anyways, prepaid card = debit card

I've never experienced the time when I have to tell the cashier what kind of card I'm using to pay.

How to trust them when their Vcash is already a flop?

What makes them think that they can do well with prepaid card if they can't even manage their e wallet well?

Digital prepaid MasterCard.
Maybe no physical card.
*
If that's really so, then it's not really attractive.

Unless they implement the Paypass feature in the app so we could just use it with NFC to pay for stuffs, that would be great.

Btw, Wechat Pay, Fave, Grab is in the list but not Boost. hmm.gif

Happy MC should be the alternative form of VCash, both VCash and Happy MC are from the same lab. Physical stores - VCash, Online - Happy MC.

Haha of course la. One is belong to yellow man, one is blue hehehe. Let them fight!
*
In some scenarios, some competitors will put their competing attitude aside and play it fair together just to benefit the consumers, which also will benefit to themselves...

But if that's how yellow man thinks, then good luck yellow man, you come out with Happy Mastercard or Angry Unionpay also won't do you any good.

Haha I'm at overseas now. Yesterday almost finished my money thought today can reload and use again.

Luckily I have other back up cards. This is why I am still not comfortable only relying solely on BigPay when going overseas. I would be so helpless in this kind of situation. Hopefully BP will get stable soon.
*
Yup, always have back up cards in the wallet just in case.

BigPay still have long way to go when it comes to stability.

Only 1 of my friend uses Bigpay, so pretty useless to me. biggrin.gif

It's kinda difficult to convince people you know to use BigPay, cuz they don't even understand or wanna know what convenience a prepaid card provides.

And let's not even get started about convincing people to use e wallets as well.

most relevant benefit is buying AA tickets no need to pay convenience fee.
That how i convinced some of the more non e-wallet friendly friends

Problem is they don't travel oversea that often, some do online shopping but rather use their bank cards instead.
