Let's say that if the real BigPay company really wants to award us with cash, BigPay would have credited the money directly to our BigPay account, without needing any input or OTP from us customers.

Then again, we know that this scenario is very unlikely to happen, because BigPay business is not yet generating profit.

Is there a top up limit?
There are no limits on top ups for bank transfer and debit cards. But you can only hold a maximum of RM10,000 at any one time.
If you're using a credit card, you can only top up a maximum of RM1,000 monthly.

Correct me, if I am wrong.

A few months ago, BigPay had a plan to increase the maximum amount stored in BigPay app to RM 20000, probably via updating BigPay app.

As of now, is this plan cancelled by BigPay, and maximum amount stored at one time remains at RM 10000?

AirAsia's BigPay among eight companies approved to provide online loans

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 13): AirAsia Bhd’s digital wallet provider BigPay Later Sdn Bhd, along with seven other “licensed credit community” companies, has obtained the approval of the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) to provide online loans.

Our BigPay prepaid cards are managed by BigPay Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. The one with the license to offer online loans is BigPay Later Sdn Bhd.

These two companies may not be the same company. Are these two companies are sister companies?

after that period, if merchant settled a long-oustanding transaction, customers can dispute and likely to win against it.

What is the likely reason that customers can successfully dispute the long-outstanding transaction? Just because it is a long-outstanding transaction, and thus Visa / MasterCard will decide in favour of the customers, right?

As of now, is it possible to use BigPay Prepaid MasterCard, to pay income tax, in https://byrhasil.hasil.gov.my/?

The website mentions credit card and debit cards in general. Logically speaking, BigPay Prepaid MasterCard can be used as well. Nevertheless, I would like to seek confirmation here, to be safe.

Yes, I aware that I need to pay additional 0.8% administration fee, for payment via credit card and debit cards, and it should be fine, since the online cashback that we gain (by reloading BigPay with PB Quantum MasterCard) is 5%.

Thank you for your information. smile.gif

Lol pay RM0.50 transferred to your bank account then pay income tax from your bank account.
0.8% < 50 Sen ?

Wow, it is definitely a sage advice from Master of Cashback from Payment Cards and e-Wallets, ClarenceT. notworthy.gif

Why haven't I thought of it before? doh.gif

Thanks. I just follow your advice.

Sure, that would work as well. Thanks for your suggestion.

The cash-out function by TnG Go+ definitely opens up tons of possibilities for us here.

Maybe, you can use BigPay app to contact BigPay Customer Service, and try to request BigPay Prepaid MasterCard. Just try your luck.

If you succeed, please share your finding here.

Good luck. smile.gif

I think that some of us are aware that BigPay FAQ (https://www.bigpayme.com/faq-virtual-cards) provides good explanation on virtual cards.

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Jun 2 2021, 11:08 AM)
of course you can use the virtual card from visa. the PAN is most likely different than physical card PAN, and both can work independently too.
*
By PAN, do you mean primary account number (also same as payment card number)?

So, in other words, the card number of BigPay Prepaid Visa Physical Card is different from the card number of BigPay Prepaid Visa Virtual Card, right?

For sure, the CVVs for Physical Card and Virtual Card are different.

Thank you for your informative explanation, as always. notworthy.gif

Great explanation as always. Thank you.

Yeah, let's wait for other users to share their real-life experience of using BigPay Prepaid Visa Virtual Card, so that we will know whether the card number of BigPay Prepaid Visa Physical Card is different from the card number of BigPay Prepaid Visa Virtual Card, or not.

Other than for new BigPay card users, Virtual Cards also benefits the existing BigPay card users, once the the existing BigPay card users are given the new replacement cards.

If you’re an existing user, virtual cards are a great way to keep your physical and digital spendings separate. You’ll be able to filter your transactions on your home screen and see where you spent with which card.

So, it should be safer for us users as well. In the unfortunate scenario whereby the virtual card is compromised due to online transaction, by right the physical card should not be affected by this security risk.

I tried to use BigPay Prepaid MasterCard to pay for online transaction, but I was unable to get to OTP webpage.

The following error appeared in RHB Bank payment gateway (which is the payment gateway for the online transaction), after I entered the card numbers, CVV and expiry date.

Attached Image

A simple Google search seems to indicate the integration issue between the merchant's website and the payment gateway, as the cause of the problem. If that is the case, it is beyond my ability to solve the problem.

How should I solve this problem?

Thank you for your help. smile.gif

have you queued in their customer chat?

You mean, BigPay Customer Chat? I will use BigPay Customer Chat later.

I want to know whether the issue is on the online merchant side, or BigPay side.

QUOTE(thecurious @ Oct 24 2021, 10:53 PM)
Have you retried like half hour later or something?
And did you try other banks?
*
I tried to pay for past few days, and the same error persisted. Nope, I have not tried using credit card or debit card from other banks.

My BigPay Prepaid MasterCard will expire by the end of this year. That is why I am very surprised that BigPay is currently printing BigPay Prepaid Visa Card for me.

Before I receive and activate BigPay Prepaid Visa Card, can I still use BigPay Prepaid MasterCard (either via swiping the card in physical stores or via online transactions) as usual, since BigPay Prepaid MasterCard is not yet expired?

Thank you very much. smile.gif

Cannot provide Black or White without authorization from lawyers because got legal implications.

Are you saying that BigPay declines to issue an official clearance letter to the victim, to avoid getting sued?

Well, the victim may use BigPay e-mail dated 25 June 2025, as well as BigPay press statement (as seen in the link given by cybpsych), as the documents that substitute the official clearance letter.
