Just to share my BigPay experience in Croatia few months ago. I actually used the BigPay card to withdraw Croatian Kuna cash notes from ATM and it works. Of course it works with the local merchants in Croatia and Slovenia too.

Best of all, very good exchange rate from BigPay and no extra fee by the local banks ATM (other than the RM10 fee by BigPay). thumbup.gif

Some ATM are operated by bank. Others by Money Changer and they can control the rates.

So best practice is to use bank's ATM. I am paranoid and I even insist on using ATM located inside a bank's premises during banking hours. Less chance of fraud and in case card stuck in machine, can get it out.

Just to confirm that if one were to apply for the BigPay Prepaid MasterCard now, he or she will definitely get the paypass Card now ? Not the old type ? I have the old one with no paypass feature. Thinking of getting one for my mom and would like it to be the new one with paypass function.

BigPay hasn't announced for existing users yet but Jonathan did mention may be chargeable for existing users.

Some people just have their mind set to have everything and may go against if things doesn;t turn the way they expect

thus, lead to never endless complaint ... some make viral it.. but complaint to an unofficial channel don't make things go RIGHT

I’ve been actively using Boost too for the past 3 weeks. Not because of withdrawing money. But because of shake rewards. And I’ve used it more often ever since FavePay teams up with Boost.

However, I received an email from FavePay that it is disabling the payment by Boost through its system due to a system upgrade by Boost. This is weird considering their partnership started just recently. No timeframe is given when we can use Boost with FavePay again.

Retested again.. and still failed to reload Boost via BigPay..

But they allow me to add my virgin BP card but cannot reload though, kind of stupid.
BTW, is the card pin same as my passcode?

Why give up Boost so easily. BP cannot top up doesnt mean end of the world. We still can use credit card to top up mah. If go thru BP, lets say top up 1k. We merely make additional 20 Big points aka 20 pennies only mah.

Speaking of this, i got no experience using Boost yet. Will look thru it n top up 1k test test water as will go try use it at KFC tomorrow.

Shake shake thing is still new to me, but at least i going to experience it n not giving up due to BP cannot top up.

20Big points = 2 cents or 20 cents?

We're lucky we did not see tonnes of pages incoming for this bigpay - boost

that's why Boost is not banning BP, just that someone don't wanna release money to Boost...

It's cost for them la. When you reload RM1k to them from BigPay they pay 1+% on that amount. Then you withdraw they pay a bit more for the transfer, and they only earn RM2 from you, loss-making.
*
Prepaid debit got lower charge.

And given their business nature high transaction amount monthly, i think it much lower than you think.

Boost all the while fixed the withdrawal limit to max RM1k/day or RM4.5k/month.
Recently you can find out they limit to RM1k/acc but you still can withdraw more than RM1k/month with 4-5 acc subjected to your acc is under your name.
You might face ban if the acc is not under your name.
that's y i already suspected BP is the one that block the topup in Boost, not Boost who ban it.
they loose more if reload with credit card and withdraw, rather than reload with BP and withdraw as charges on prepaid card is way more less than credit card.
