Personally, there's no point in using it to hold cash for extended periods of time. I know some idiots users like to use it to store their money but you should only topup what you want to use when you want to use it. Especially considering their support is non-existent so you'll have a hard time getting your money back if anything were to happen to it.

Guys, wanna ask for bigpay topup, is it possible to topup via credit card with diff name from account holder? Like i wan topup my wife bigpay use my credit card

Hi guys.
I topped up rm1k into bigpay using pbe bank credit card on 16th feb.
The top up should be success, since bigpay does not allow me to top up next rm1k and said it hit the monthly limit already.

However, the amount of 1k does no reflect on bigpay.
Meaning my wallet is still showing rm0.00
Meanwhile my credit card already charged rm1k.

Any idea on this?

I had similar issue betore, talked to CS twice but useless. After 2 weeks and another few day money got refunded by itself.

If I made a trx with JPY 500 which havent settled in Bigpay. The reserved RM amount: RM 17.84. Then i freeze my card to prevent any unauthorized trx.

1) When the trx settled with the RM amount is higher than the reserved amount, did Bigpay still manage to deduct the frozen balance?

2) If i left my BigPay balance 0, what will happen to the balance? Will it become negative amount?

Any1 have experience on this? Tq.

Means if I go to Watsons want to use the DuitNow QR function in BigPay app to pay also cannot. Because Watsons scans customers instead of customers scanning them. Still need to whip out the BP card to pay by wave/ PIN.

hi, first time use big pay prepaid master card, may i know is it i need to top up money in e wallet first then only can purchase air ticket at air asia? cause after i key in the card number at payment page, no discount apply and i proceed the payment, message say unable to process payment . or i need activate the card first?

Yes, you need to activate the card, perform topup then only can use the BigPay card up to the available balance jn your BigPay account.

And NO, nowadays no more additional processing fee buying Airasia ticket with credit card, hence pay with BigPay or any other credit card will not incur additional charges. Likewise using Bigpay card paying for Airasia ticket will not give you any discount either

so what is the best card for foreign purchase?

haven't tried myself, but while waiting for value added responses, it says 1% after the first 1k

There are no limits on your top ups if you do it via bank transfers, debit cards of credit cards. However, your BigPay wallet can only hold a maximum of RM10,000 at any one time.

Previously (before changing to Master) 2% still not enough to cover (most cards ALSO have an additional charge on top of lousier forex, my previous testing some years ago was 5-6%). Have not used BigPay recently for foreign transaction so not sure what current situation is.
