 [HELP] unifi router and modem problem, living in stone age right now

my house mate yesterday night restarted the modem

now my modem is working(all led lights needed are fine), but the router keep on restarting and refresh

and my wifi signal is totally gone

already called customer service

he restarted his port on his side and i restarted mine, still problem persist

did you try turn it off, wait a while and on it back?

this model is already quite old, maybe there is some problem with the router hardware.

You guys updated the firmware is it? Stock TM firmware is different from D-Link website one. You might have bricked it.

i did turn it off, wait for 15 seconds then turn it back on (there is no power button so i unplug it )

same problem, btw the hardware problem might be true because i heard some weird buzzing inside !

Your TM router is faulty. And considering it's the D-Link DIR-615, the warranty for the router is definitely over
Time to replace it with a different one

The new one will be much more stable, faster and more secure too - A good router is a good long term investment, and buying a good one can last you a long time icon_idea.gif

You can purchase a new router to replace the existing DIR-615 dy as it seems got faulty.
