I don't think they be crazy enough to remove the NA. That's their highest seller. Not everyone can afford the 2.5T and at that price it's no longer competing with CRV. That's more like Tiguan price.

The exterior of the new design might not always be better than the previous one. But, I guarantee you the interior is 100% far better than now. Look at the CX-50. Also, the new one must have far more new features and safety features. This CX-5 is old and is close to 6 years old. If I was you will wait for the next one even 15k more. This generation is not worth it and you will take heavy depreciation when a new one comes out. Only you get a big discount or else you pay MSRP is a no-brainer.
