Hi. Considering between 2.0 and 2.5 (non turbo). I’m doing mostly city driving in KL. How is the fuel consumption difference? Any feedback on the 2 models?

Hi booked the CX5 2.0. Now looking at tinting and coating options. Shld I remove the Skytint or add additional layer for the FWS and side windows? I know RWS shouldn’t due to demister.

Front windshield will need to remove for new tint. The rest recommended to double tint.

Thanks.

Hi all, trying to decide between the Crystalline 70 or 60 for the FWS. Only concern is JPJ compliance. Any views?

Anyone can share a pic of after installing dashcam?  I wanna consider one too.  Thanks.

My SA provided the Marbella dashcam and got it installed for me. The cable goes into the black panel behind rear view mirror. Clean installation.Attached Image Attached Image

Did the installer splice the 12v power source from within the rearview mirror cover? Afaik there is no USB outlet inside that cover but only got power supply for the rain sensing camera, autodimming mirror and the lane keep assist cameras.
*
Power not from within the black box. Cable is pulled down into an internal power source near the front seat apparently.

Nice, I'm about to DIY install a dashcam, and this gives me idea on where to route the cables!

Good luck if you know what you’re doing. smile.gif Otherwise check with the accessories shop. Don’t wanna cause any short circuits.

This dashcam if you opt to remove it they deduct 1k for you. Advantage is they said won’t void warranty since they install for you. smile.gif
*
1k? Wow that’s a lot. How much if you buy outside?

I have the car for 3 weeks now. Great drive so far. But a couple issues :
1. A squeaking /rattling noise in the car at the front area. It comes and goes. Anyone experienced that?
2. Wipers are noisy. Is that normal?

Nope at front. Back yes. I fixed it in 2 days just the wire of the break light. 2 pcs cable tie fixed it. Dashboard rattle is headache and not easy to fix. Bring in to SC. Good luck.
*
Thanks. Mobile service coming on Mon. Hopefully the sound still there then.

The RFID installer will test first and see if location ok before he sticks it. Mine was tested at 100% at top left corner outside of windscreen.

Hi all. Been experiencing wiper juddering ie noisy after first few wipes even if raining fairly heavily. A problem with wiper or windscreen? SC said wipers are fine.

The car is about 3 months old.

I have coating on my windscreen. Part of the 3M coating package. Could that be the problem? But then again Duckies has no coating.

Just annoying as heck. Especially for a new car.
