Ya, like brother joe said, maybe skytint is so weak that it can pass puspakom inspection

Looks like there will not be a CX-5 facelift/refresh in 2022, according to Pauline Tan's blog post titled, "Mazda CX-3 to be updated in Malaysia in January 2022 – MX-5, Mazda 3 and CX-30 in February; CX-8 in May". Good for those who just bought, but not good for me since I'm waiting for a FL before buying

1) Check any scratch
2)steering rack got rust or not
3) remove the shit tint except for add another layer for rear
4) coating or PPF
5) mod audio if you are an audiophile
6) dash cam
I did all the above within 2 days I got mine.

agree with buffa. mine 3m crystalline series 99% cant pass.. it will required some maneuver like very slow and with windows wind down but not work everytime.. at the end i just wind down my windows n shows my everyone i got smart tag everyone i pass thru the gantry.

unless u want to cut a space where u gonna stick ur smart tag there. else either u get different brand like vkool or u get tng sticker instead. my friend using 3m had migrated to sticker

u mean mazda give u free skytint and you want to apply another same skytint outside to the front windscreen? What's the benefit of that?

Based on that i had tested from the skytint that was recently removed from my cx5.
the IRR is around 90+
the UV is around 50+
the VLT is around 70+
and its a safety film 6mil if not mistaken

I strongly do not recommend double tint with the reasons below:
1) In most of the cases, it will void both warranty.. the original tint and the new tint that was applied on top of original tint. You may check with the shop.
2) the risk of mistake during application. says u are going to double tint 4 side windows. if during application one of the window tint having prob and when they remove it the original tint was damage along the way.. now u left with 1 windows with single tint another 3 with double tint, are you ok with it?
3) Distortion.. when light pass thru the two tint that might make out of different material, the light may disperse or diffract. It may cause disturbance while you are driving.

Me personally will not recommend but i know a lot of ppl doing it. Even the tint shop i visited they apply double tint to make their car windows darker. So at the end is still your choice to make

In cx5 fb group, there are many (more than 4 cases) of gb gone right after hit >100k km, but within 5 years period. All 4 get new gb under warranty, courtesy of Bermaz/Mazda Japan.  That is why they should do the same for that case on his engine, he still within the 5 years warranty but hit >100k km.

Inb4, all manufacturers should give unlimited mileage warranty. Others already done it. For GB, better service it and change the atf after certain mileage due to capped mileage warranty. Seal for life is not working.

Heard a few of the diesel owner complaint, but Mazda after selling so many and only a handful kena so we cant said its really that bad right.

So far I didn't seen any negative review. I assume they use good quality film.
