QUOTE(haimirmaya @ Dec 18 2019, 02:10 PM) This is the true story where I can get my car within 3 days and further checked, my VIN# stated for 2020 production. I'm totally if they are hiding something on this. Mazda refresh their car specs in oct. Normally when they refresh it it carries a next year production model nber to differentiate the model build. E.g on 2.0gls 2018 base model 2019 add powerboot 2020 add 360 camera and car play. This actually align with foreign market like US and Aus. In US. You get the 2020 model year car starting June/july 2019.

QUOTE(voncrane @ Dec 20 2019, 12:09 AM) The auto transmission world welcomes you... Make sure not to fall in love with the Brake auto-hold feature.. Traffic jams will never be the same for you.. The only thing I miss is handbrake.. dislike electronic parking brake.

Anyone here has AFS warning lighted up before? Did Mazda service center manage to root cause it and fix it? I have this since day one I got the car. It lighted up occasionally. Have been Mazda SC check for a few time but unable to root cause it.

QUOTE(voncrane @ Dec 22 2019, 03:49 PM) Wow since day one.. .. I'm assuming that they have, but asking anyways.. Have they tried replacing the entire AFS system for both sides? They said can't detect anything. They just reset the system. Not sure if any error code popup. The AFS warning appears 3/4 times per month and it will stay lighted then will go away after 1 or 2 days later.

I was at Mazda showroom today to checkout the latest CX5 IPM. I notice that the leather quality on CX5 is not on par with 3,6,cx3 and cx9. Is Mazda CX-5 seats real leather? My CX5 don't have the leather smell

QUOTE(jagjag @ Dec 23 2019, 12:03 PM) Not or not, im not sure..but it's not Nappa for sure which is way more comfortable.. And oso i notice that our leather is on ' harder ' side compare to Toyota non-nappa..even the Vios leather is feel softer... Altis and Vios leather seats are not genuine leather AFAIK. Not sure about Camry.

QUOTE(Afterburner1.0 @ Dec 26 2019, 10:48 AM) Just a quick question; For those who r driving the 2.5 Turbo, are all ur 4 breaks similar to those 2.0, 2.2, 2.5 ?? or are they bigger? for example BMW has M Sport breaks and suspension to support the higher end M sport series. How about Mazda? if ur driving with 400+ of torque.... can ur normal breaks take the force??? 2.2d and 2.0 share the same rotor parts.. I assume 2.5t would be the same. Maybe you should dropby at Mazda and ask to double confirm

QUOTE(Afterburner1.0 @ Dec 26 2019, 11:35 AM) asking actual owners here would be faster.... i assume they r the same.... so careful guys when driving the 2.5Turbo.... pecut tu ok, ability to stop tu important jugak... 2.2d has higher torque than 2.5t. (450Nm vs 420Nm). I think should be sufficient to stop the car.

QUOTE(NX9 @ Jan 2 2020, 12:54 PM) This should be done right after the manufacturing process. Apply surface treatment or grease after manufacturing and store it properly. Not to be done during the car assembly line process. Mine has a bit of rust, not as bad as yours. Not sure can claim warranty. Btw, should it be painted black?

QUOTE(ramb @ Jan 6 2020, 02:51 PM) I am a proud owner of Deep Crystal Blue 2.0 High. Been watching the forum with a lot of useful information and it helps me to make the decision to get this car. However, I discovered that one of my black piano triangle panel on C pillar was cracked on the day I picked up the car. It was replaced since it was cracked before I took delivery of the car. Few days later, found black piano triangle panel on C pillar was cracked on the other side as well. Wonder this can be claimed under warranty since the car is still new. But the SA told me it was kind of difficult since I had already taken delivery of the car and this was most probably not covered under warranty. Please kindly advice. Greetings from Penang to all wonderful members here. Do you have the photo of the crack?

QUOTE(SSJBen @ Jan 7 2020, 05:16 PM) Quick question, pardon me if it's been answered before. How come on carlist.my there are sellers selling CX5 2019 models as new but they're like 20k+ below the official price from dealers/showroom? Example - https://www.carlist.my/new-cars-for-sale/ma...9&max_year=2019It might be pricing for GL or mid spec model. No harm to call them and ask.

QUOTE(superlok12345 @ Jan 14 2020, 01:47 PM) Hi guys, do you encounter some mechanism noise when you releasing the brake petal ? especially in the jam from standstill condition to acceleration. Also, when applying auto hold system, you will heard "groonk" when it release the brake. Is it smtg wrong with it or deal with the abs system? Yes it is normal for autohold.

QUOTE(mysjumblesale @ Feb 2 2020, 01:34 PM) Hi all, wonder if anyone here have this problem: When ignition is turned off, get down from the car, close the door. When press the black button on the door handle to "lock" car, the car would not lock. No "beep" sound heard as well. When I walk away, the "walk away auto lock" would not function as well. But, I can lock the car using the remote key. Unlocking the car using the black "unlock" button on the door handle is ok (work with no problem). How to solve this problem? Anyone can share? Thanks. Looks like the door is not able to detect your keyfob or you have another key inside the car. Let the SC have it checked.

QUOTE(ycsiong @ Feb 4 2020, 02:19 PM) My 14 months old baby can not start recently. It happens twice after I'm back to home, off my engine. Then 5 min later I try to start failed. Rest for 30min and try can start again Can't reproduce this issue every time. Sent to SC to check battery is still good, propose to change fuel pump and monitor. Anyone experience this issue? When you shutoff your car. Do you hear air sucking sound from the rear seat? My colleague had this issue twice. SC said it is a early sign of fuel pump failure.. he replaced it twice in 18 months

QUOTE(ojp @ Feb 21 2020, 01:40 PM) Hello all, I'm thinking to get Mid Spec 2.0. Mind to share your verdicts on it ? Personally I think those safety features on High specs is worth the extra 10% topup. At least there is a second eye assisting while driving. You should consider it. If you are taking 7 to 9 years.. it is about rm200 extra per month. Midspecs is good for carefree car. Due to minimum electronic, less digital thing going to breakdown in long run after warranty is over.. FYI if your led tail light and day running light spoil, you cannot replace the led easily. Unlike midspecs uses led bulb.
