Install a good quality oil catch can will be even better. Not sure if this will void the warranty la.

Else do period maintenance of 50K Kms of walnut blasting.

Apparently Madza Malaysia provides complimentary a bottle of carbon cleaner during each service schedule....i had mine on my first 1000km service but have not pour into the fuel tank yet....not sure if this helps out hmm.gif

If possible please use RON97 because skyactiv engine suit for RON97 in order to reduce engine knocking sound and less carbon deposit inside the engine.

So far so good on pumping Petronas/BHP RON95 ....will consider RON97 if I plan on high throttle ride biggrin.gif

How come my 1k service I am not getting it?

Well the carbon cleaner is just not sufficient to clean the gunk.

Yo peeps, just collected my car yesterday.

Upon inspection, as I was opening the boot and leaning for stuffs inside, my knees were pressed hard against the bumper and I was surprised on how easily it caved in.

So soft meh the bumper?

Other than that, it's a really solid car. no ragrets whatsoever.

Congrats... As for the bumper being soft?.. Hmm, not experienced here yet and been doing a bit of loading and unloading of heavy items.. Mind describing a specific point of contact.. I'll try to replicate on my end.. See if same.

Meanwhile, anyone installed a cover of sorts for that bottom lip just below where the boot lid closes on the body? I've noticed that water after rain likes to dry there and sometimes show dirty spots.. Minor nuisance... Just checking.

Before 1k servicing, there are some recommended guidelines on how to “break-in” your engine, including the “Do’s” and “Dont’s”
Try searching a few pages back as some members have posted these pointers.
You can google it too or even read the Mazda manual

Thanks bro for sharing. But it did not mention about going up hill (mountain hill) as do or don’t.

I will take it as a don’t first until someone says otherwise then.

Thanks

I saw a video from YouTube for euro ncap cx-5. The bumper is design to be elastic and softer due to pedestrians crash reducing impact.

I don’t see that as a problem as long as it bounces back up immediately on light pressing.

Going uphill can.. Just not rev happy.. Earlier, I shared the way I did mine.. Either search or isolate my posts and track it down.. Easier explanations then..

The newer safety designs are geared mainly for the front side.. Not back.. Particularly, the top lip on the bonnet. That's why there's a break there.. Versus in the past where the car's engine cover is just one solid cover and all the way to the front of the car... At least, this be my understanding of it. The back bumper shouldn't buckle upon impact as easily as the front will, cuz it needs to protect more against being rammed with force from behind.

If you drive up hill, just watch out for your Rev counter.
Try not to be Rev happy and performs many overtaking up hill during the break-in period
