Hi guys, I am wondering whether worth to get 2.0G Mid rather than 2.0 High?

Looking for SUV around 130k and 2.0G high is 20k above my budget so thinking to get 2.0G Mid only.

is best to fit to own budget but the 20k is worth upgrade for ..
blind spot, full led lamp, auto boot, rear traffic detection, 360 camera..keyless entry and smart city brake for front ,..

i think these stuff cost more than 20k ..

maybe u can look for preown at mazda anshin..

It seem like no brainer to get the cx-5 high specs. Most probably would try to save a little bit more over the year and delay the purchase!

Windshield ... highly recommended ...

Put on my windshield (above the wiper area) too, but not able to detect. 

Mine on top left windshield.success rate is way higher than on headlamp on my previous car

Also cannot be too close to the car metal frame part, coz metal will interfere with the RFID sticker. If your tint contains metal content will also interfere

Wan to know more? Join the taiwan cx5 sos team u will know lot lot more. The fiasco has made mazda taiwan stop selling 2.2D in all variants.

Also, if let say 100,000 out of 20 nia, it shouldnt stop taiwan from selling the units.

Change atf after certain mileage interval.

Everytime u change please do reset. But 30k should be alright.

If too long like 100k then u should do reset for TCM module.

Mazda TCM designed for lifetime usage, which means it will always read the viscosity and adjust the pressure of atf pump as the viscosity getting thicker over time.

Let say after 100k the atf bcome thick like milo dinosaur, n then u change new atf with very fluent viscosity, n then u pump without telling the TCM that u already change new atf, n then the pump still pump using the same power as the old thick milo dinosaur.

U r gonna hurt your gearbox real bad.

because my friend now looking for a car , he have a mind that going for Civic FE RS or the GLS 2.0 CX5 (the GL 2.0 too kosong so skip it)

this two price range is near as he no budget for 2.5 or 2.5 Turbo
so actually what is the common problem of owning CX5 that have to take extra care? For honda he need pay 5 year maintenance while for CX5 he no need to headache as least 5 year maintenance fees , but after 5 year is that the car will be expensive or hard to maintenance?
really appreciate if u guys could share some information about it 

actually me and him not a kind of person that "Wah that car have this issue , better i skip" we are kind of at least we know what is common issue that we can stand by and prevent , because car never perfect , every brand have different issues like the honda famous streering rack , then Interior QC is not as good as mazda , but we are not so ODC about this kind of issues , as long as not too serious like the engine issues then will be ok , anything shit happen just send to SC to do claim
Yeah Civic and CX5 is different segment , but he can go either one  , he test drive the Toyota Altis / CX5 , but FE stil no chance to test as very hot goreng pisang until not enough car to do showroom car 
He already drive toyota altis 2.0 previously 10 year old car , but why he wan to skip for current toyota is because stil using same Engine with 1.8 summore    so he looking to try some other brand , i asking him weather wanna something premium or u wan a powerful turbo engine 1.5 Civic

so if i can get more information about CX5 can let him know and make him more easier to choose 

Not sure if it's the same thing, but your speed need to be quite fast above certain km/h like 20 or 30 or ? Also set sensitivity or distance to high.
You may also need your leg on the accelerator or maintaining speed.
If you let go off accelerator or the speed is already dropping, it won't take effect.

I have the CX-5 auto-brake for me and the jerk is quite strong. Split second moment before that, the VDO will flash BRAKE ! and also some sound if I recall correctly.

If you ask me, most likely the system not able to tell if there is an object in the way.

If your gut feeling is it never activate at all, most likely it is. Try ask other SC?
I would suggest u try again from a further distance, the car should be able to see the box as it is quite tall like a height of a kid.

i tested too by not putting foot on the pedal and it didn't activate but works when my foot was on pedal in real situation lol

From your YouTube, my layman comment:
1) Speed too slow, try 20-30km/h from further away. Maybe try do this in safer area like open area car park.

2) instead of using box, just try prop up a big piece of cardboard like 1m height x 2m width with another small piece of cardboard. Less damage on your bumper for testing. The cardboard will fall flat and under your carriage roll over by tyres.
Or string up a piece of blanket/bedsheet, but ensure the string is at least 2m high (higher than your car roof). The cloth will sweep (hope no scratch) over your car.
Hitting the boxes, just worry damage or scratch the front bumper or broke your license number plate.

3) maybe stick another few pieces of padding on your bumper to prevent scratch, but ensure distance is at least 10cm away from every direction of each sensor.

4) ensure you are going fast and picking up speed. Our natural reaction is to let go accelerator and/or press brake when see an object. You need to train your brain not to see the big piece of cardboard.

I recall I were going at least 30-60km/h when it auto-brake for me and the distance to the car in front is very near like <1 metre.

Not tall enough. Mazda book did written something like “not effective to kid height”

Box is fine. U need reflector only for the older scbs. Current scbs use camera.

But u need wider n taller boxes.

And speed too. U dont need to step on paddle but u cant step on your brake, even lightly.

older use lidar. Only available in 1.5gen

Would like to know, do you guys still go to Mazda SC after 3 years of owning (2018 batch with 3 years free service)?

i think it's my turn for having issue with lower arm bush cause there is a krung noise when going through speed bump

my next service is in 2 months so is it safe to wait till then or better replace ASAP?
