Current cx5 owners already doing the power boot externally. There are shops that import the power boot set from overseas(cx5 overseas comes with power boot long time already, shops just install the things that factory didn’t install for you).

Afaik, the set include the leg swap, you can just don’t use the leg swap but it will be there, wouldn’t be any cheaper without if it install leg swap less. I may be wrong as I install it quite long time ago on the cx5 and there may be new different parts d.

When I sent my car for 20k servicing at Glenmarie, I asked the SA if those without power boot can be retrofitted with factory-installed power boot.
They said can only recommend authorized installers but the warranty will be 2 years, unlike 5 years for favtory-installed and using existing 2-button key fob, i.e. no option to change to the new 3-button key fob.

by the way, how you guys take care of the dashboard and the leather? using any cleaner or protector? the dashboard color of mine looks dim like fading...

After days of driving my car, unfortunately I have experiencing rattling sound coming from the engine or middle of the dashboard.

mine one subtle as well but it seem come from meter panel area

dull or fading? if fading make sure ur dashboard are covered under sun. expose to too much sun is not good for your dashboard and steering wheel. The first is going to worn out is the steering wheel. the leather will start peeling off. The dashboard will not last long also..

is toward dull so thinking of apply some "Meguiars QUIK INTERIOR DETAILER" for it sooner...

Hi guys, just collect my cx5 last Friday.
Found out my passenger head rest is not horizontally even.
I swap around the head rest, it is not the seat problem.
This one can claim warranty? ask them to change a new head rest for me?

Mazda’s BOSE is overated. And it cause more problem then our speakers.

Users who own BOSE will have dilemma when they thinking for an upgrade.

Guys any idea how to easily DIY to disable I-Stop? I too lazy to press off button every time start my car. (CX5 Gen 2)

There is a switch, just that it resets with each start..    Either have a hack installed or use a piece of paper.. You do it yourself and it costs barely nothing.. Personally, I've grown used to just switching it off with every start.. It's a pain. They really should have given a software option to toggle it off or on permanently. I would prefer the auto-hold feature to be automatically switched on with each start, instead of the istop.
Yep, I believe it's just the addition of powered boot with 3 button key fob.. Price increased too.. So there's that. I'm eagerly awaiting faster USB ports in the front and official AA & CP.

Sure it's not a pair of sunglasses in its holder up top? I too heard some rattling, turned out to be that.. Changed its position and voila.. No more sound. I still get the occasional noisy/grinding sound from releasing the brakes. Especially if the car's wet.

I found that if wait for too long, like your case around 1min, or if the weather is really hot. The engine will come alive itself.

How to reset the trip meter's km?
Is it press and hold the "selector" at the meter cluster there?
Mine, I press and hold but no response. The km wont reset to 0.
