Is this one 1st gen or 2nd gen?
If it's 1st gen, would it be hard to buy spare parts? https://www.lazada.com.my/products/1mirobot...Pz2hhr&search=1 ![]() Intelligent Route Planning Three-dimensional Vacuum Cleaning System APP Remote Control 5200mAh Large Capacity Battery 1800Pa Super Suction Almighty Helper- 2cm obstacle climbing, 2mm Rubber Bumper, 360 degrees LDS pressure sensor Auto power-off after leaving the floor Automatic self-recharging sensor |

Bought a Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaner on 11.11. Still learning to use it.
Do we need to assign room to the robot before we start cleaning? How does it know which is living room and which is bedroom? Another thing is, how do we prevent it from going into bathroom and balcony (other than closing the door)? ![]() |

QUOTE(idoblu @ Nov 12 2019, 09:28 PM) Your unit don’t have room division What magnetic tape are you referring to?Just let your robot automatically clean your whole house. I’m not sure if yours can save the map If it can, you can draw virtual barriers and zones to condone off areas that you don’t want it to go If don’t have this function you can buy those magnetic tape to restrict cleaning areas I google and its says 'magnetic tape is a medium for magnetic recording' |

QUOTE(enteraname1 @ Nov 13 2019, 08:58 PM) No. Can't afford it QUOTE(idoblu @ Nov 13 2019, 09:01 PM) click on the top right corner the three dots You are right. Can't save the map.see if you have a vacuum setting that is able to save map i dont think your models has it. here is how mine looks like. as you can see in my map, all the red lines and boxes are the virtual barriers and no-go zones [attachmentid=10351545][attachmentid=10351546] So I need to use the virtual wall tape. |

Bought my Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaner on 11.11. Today tried it for the first time.
The robot got stuck 2 times, and I need to manually intervene its operation. Which makes me wonder if I can do vacuuming when nobody is at home Yes, I can be more careful with the dangling cables and door mats. But there is always a chance something goes wrong... Mapping function is good, but can be better. It went into my bedroom, vacuum half of it, then came out. After that it went in again to finish the other half of the room. |

QUOTE(Zoopdiidoo @ Mar 26 2019, 12:44 PM) As for mopping, the instruction says to be around when the mop function is being used. True enough, i had to add water to the mop pan every 400 sqft and also clean the microfibre cloth. i only mop once a week. QUOTE(hazremi @ Nov 19 2019, 09:51 AM) Disclaimer:ayam using Mijia - without mopping function. |

QUOTE(alteclp @ Mar 26 2019, 03:18 PM) QUOTE(Zoopdiidoo @ Mar 26 2019, 03:43 PM) probably they dun even know. Do you buy only the original Xiaomi/Roborock HEPA filter?the gen 1 filter cannot be washed, you tap it to remove the dust....the second gen one can be washed with running water to remove the dust. normally ppl who doesn't need the mop function from gen 2 will buy the gen 1 and get extra gen 2 filters to put into their vacuum. It is hard to know if the filters sold on Lazada/Shopee are original or 3rd party... |

Asked seller in Shopee, they told me Xiaomi is Xiaomi, Roborock is Roborock, not the same... |
