my top 3 robot vacuum picks based on my experience of owning and using them
1 - neato (most expensive, even the battery also expensive) 2 - mijia (most quiet and bajet friendly) 3 - roomba (havent fall down suicide yet)
I'm not sure if it will work for me, so thinking should I start with a Mijia... is the performance a LOT different from a neato?
My house is 2 storey, 3800sqft will xiaomi be fine? ALso there is several version of xiaomi? I;m confused cause I see the one selling officially/locally is the one launched like 2 yrs ago..
the cheapest option with 6 month warranty is in Shopee lazada also sells it but the seller advice me to just get the Chinese version. Cos the global version only has labels and boxes in English. You can install language packs to the vacuum so it responds or announces alerts in English. Also most of the controls for this vacuum is via app, app is in English so no need global version.
Oh...
U mean we buy directly from say Aliexpress/China... the app will be in english? Cannot be right.....
I dunno where the shopee seller sources his products but it says Global version. "just sticker and box is english" qouted by lazada seller whom also sells the global version of the vacuum...he also sells a chinese only version. i think global version is for EU countries? cos it gives the 2 pin plug.
the Mi home app is in english ler... how can cannot be? i am using the app...its in english ...just choose your region in a english speaking language country ..like Singapore for instance. the app is from the google app store..
oooo using Mi Home App.. okok... cause I using MiTV V3 all in chinese pfffttt
Anyway... if we didnt want the mop function... then Gen1 and Gen 2 no diff?
probably they dun even know. the gen 1 filter cannot be washed, you tap it to remove the dust....the second gen one can be washed with running water to remove the dust. normally ppl who doesn't need the mop function from gen 2 will buy the gen 1 and get extra gen 2 filters to put into their vacuum.
