Both Roborock and Ecovacs have models with mopping function.

I never owned them though. My own robot is vacuuming only.

probably they dun even know.
the gen 1 filter cannot be washed, you tap it to remove the dust....the second gen one can be washed with running water to remove the dust.
normally ppl who doesn't need the mop function from gen 2 will buy the gen 1 and get extra gen 2 filters to put into their vacuum.

Do you buy only the original Xiaomi/Roborock HEPA filter?

It is hard to know if the filters sold on Lazada/Shopee are original or 3rd party...

if china seller mostly third party so buy from local sellers like VisionGadgetry - https://shopee.com.my/search?keyword=roboro...s&shop=18695082
You can also buy from physical Mi Store around KL

I suggest not to buy the washable HEPA filters as they cost twice as much. Better to use a normal vacuum cleaner and vacuum the filter everyday. By doing that, I hardly have to change filter, maybe every 6 months

The robot vacuum is now sold in xiaomi stores in Malaysia. No need buy china/global market stocks liao. All the accessories and filters are sold in the store as well.
Those in lazada/shopee i would say are original...they are just sourced from china or other global markets which xiaomi is selling this vacuum at.

Thanks but this one ship from overseas. Local after sales support is important for less hassle use. I read that some people have to throw away products bought from overseas because it is too much a hassle just to arrange to send back to those country for service. I think i'm going to keep my eyes on those with official local distributor.

hi, can I confirm Gen 2 Roborock washable filter can be installed in Gen 1 Xiaomi robot?

Asked seller in Shopee, they told me Xiaomi is Xiaomi, Roborock is Roborock, not the same...

Battery Kong ? Seem like keep changing

Another thing , I would like to advise, that Hepa filter at internal dust bin side should apply thin sponge to blocking the dirt get into Hepa filter 😇😇😇

May I know how do you attach the sponge on the filter?

Just paste on top of Hepa filter will do.
Cut a little bit oversized of sponge, the dust bin case would be holding the sponge right
