QUOTE(leonhang @ Jul 20 2018, 09:52 PM) https://www.cnbc.com/2017/05/26/mark-cuban-...edit-cards.html I agree.right Credit card encouraged people to get credited (to borrow money) unlike Debit Card or Mobile Payment, which teaches you to manage your financial wisely CC is for those people who know how to control their financial properly. If cannot control, better stick to DC or Mobile Payment. |

QUOTE(tokdukun @ Aug 17 2018, 05:04 PM) Correct, if annual fee RM100, Kastam earn RM6 only. To add to your statement - If annual fee free for life, Customs get 0.Now Kastam earn directly RM25. Maslan sure happy say see, SST naikkan harga barang, GST turunkan harga barang blabla. So you're right, Customs is very happy, Maslan is happy too. |

QUOTE(tokdukun @ Aug 17 2018, 05:12 PM) If LGE smart, he can counter say but now make online payment/transfer, no more GST or SST. Last time if IBG transfer, bank charge 10 sen, Kastam earn 1 sen, that's 10% GST rate yo. Pay by cheque got 50 sen charge, Kastam earn 3 sen. Correct, but CC got its own benefits. HeheNow zero, satu sen pun tak ada. |

Die liau this time.
Looks like this SST on credit card is finalised by RMCD. Have to cancel those under-utilised credit cards already. Insurance also finalised. All insurance except individual medical/health insurance will be subjected to 6% service tax. Those who bought insurance during tax holiday, will be charged pro-rated SST. |

QUOTE(forumania126 @ Nov 20 2018, 01:08 AM) I received a statement todak for my OCBC CC which I never use for years. Then at the same time they told me I got outstanding 25bucks. I was like wtf. So I call you the bank and ask. And here we go SST for cc. Without further talking I cancelled it. No, banks are very reluctant to waive. And I have AM Bank and I was about to call them but they called me to intro their offers. I told that I'm about to call you but you call me first. So first question they ask, you want to cancel your CC right? Wtf again. So since you straight forward, I cancel it. So both bank gone for good. As the rest got no choice cause need it. One question, can the SST be waive? |

Just applied RHB CC for my wife.
Got approved, and the sales agent asked my wife to use at least RM50 in order to waive that RM25 SST. |
