Rm25 will be charge for the renewal of the card upon the card had expired. Let's say I have another 4 years until my card expiry. Then I will not be charged until the renewal.

Due to some cc users applying multiple cards and abusing it, now many cards have reduced their benefits. Now karma strike and they will have to cancel some of their cards. Hopefully once the cancellations rate goes high, they will reintroduce those benefits back.

Good luck with that hope. It is our poor economy and lower overall spending power driving the banks to reduce benefits. Besides that the more the credit card holders, the better the bank can offer better benefits.

Look at Maybank which has the biggest customer pool in Malaysia, their local cards'benefit always more attractive.

Which other country in the world charges this credit card owner tax? They make it sound like a freaking norm.
