Hi, may I know what is the average price to employ a chinese confinement lady? Do they charge double during the festive month like CNY?

Still headache about whether to get one or not. Truth is, I don't really like to eat pork (with the exception of delicious bak kut teh and vinegar trotter) and chicken, has always prefer beef and lamb. I guess most of the CL cooks chicken and pork only?

Most would say just go with the 1 month confinement food with all those ginger/wine etc...

Unless you are western inclined, those eat anything, firstweek alrdy go eat KFC.

As fro confinement lady during CNY, prices range form 3500 to 5500 dependent on where you are at. Also, its very risky for CNY as sometimes they will FFK you. I would advice you looking for a GOOD confinement house. I used Bonda Villa in the past, they actively promote breatfeeding as well

Thanks for the info. Seems like i was quoted with heavier price 6k because most say it s cny. Thing is they all want to have rest in cny for many days, so i do wonder what s the point of charging me more then since they re getting off days. Donno if they will even come back after their cny leaves.

I think i search for Bondavilla before, the package is like 10k?

Bondavilla is around 10~12k i think. That was a few years ago.

Its a nice place, if they settled the mosquito issue... it was pretty bad back then
