let hope a win over lazio can boost roma's morale and form
on a sidenote, it seems roma's GK depth is not strong enough, i cant see artur or sergio cover well for doni and good to see brighi gets his run in the 1st team |

although lazio's many chances, luckily their finishing is not clinical.
and so, zarate was indeed the one played for birmingham before. At lazio, he surely is eye-catching now. Young menez is still improving, but he really should done better in certain chances.. |

forza roma !
roma's revival run is impressive, although unconvincing, but winning is all that matters |

afaik Italy now favors 4-3-3 with three strikers upfront, normally with toni as the targetman, how will totti fit in the tactics?
anyway i think its good that totti is focus on his club career, but it should be interesting if he somehow returns to the national squad montella is giving roma a more experienced depth among substitute strikers, dont retire yet |

watching from highlights:
on milan's second goal, pato totally outpace mexes imo, vucinic second goal is kinda sloppy; brighi saw his shot bounce off pirlo, somehow the ball bobbled to vucinic, and his diving header took abbiati by surprise getting a point(draw) is better than none, although i think both sides couldev done more This post has been edited by dulano: Jan 12 2009, 03:18 PM |

highlights:
1st goal, vucinic bundle in a handball being disallowed, immediately inter's restart messed our defence, 2 defenders tumbled together, letting adriano weaves thru and score 2nd half shot from taddei equalize the score, and then came ibrahimovic's volley, great technique and reaction, but 4 inter players behind our defence a silverware chance gone, surely we must do better in league and CL now |

wow lol, how rare for 2 CBs score in the same match irl, nice crosses by pizarro
according to soccernet, vucinic scored 12 goals in all competitions so far, including 7 goals in serie A as for panucci, seeing that coming from a senior squad member is facepalm |

perhaps they will get their chance once they are back from loan
on a side note, what happen to some promising youngsters from the past? some departed some faded? one expects them to "flourish" by now, e.g. curci, cerci, simonetta, virga, antunes ... |

i guess loria is still needed as a backup's backup, given roma's surprisingly lack of cover for Juan and Mexes ( that panucci's drama
the battle for right-back heats up, if fit, we'll have 4-5 players capable for that spot |

lol @ loria scores
considering how depleted the squad is, i think 3 goals margin defeat is barely ok however this expose our thin squad depth again |
