Roma 1 - 0 Sampdoria

we're thru to the semi of the Coppa, well on our way to defend the cup. biggrin.gif

Mancini scored another beauty, making a few setpovers b4 slot the ball past the GK. he's been in slizziling form since new year ! notworthy.gif

in overall the performance of the team was so-so only. we could hav won by a bigger margin, but we juz did enough anyway. a win is still a win. tongue.gif

if u are talking abt Chivu n Cassano, they were not sold bcoz of our financial problem. they leave bcoz of their greedy ass.

n btw we did NOT sold Samuel to Inter.

oh, sorry. cant recall. we sell samuel to real. sorry bro. but, what i mean was, i hope we can sustain to keep great player like mexes, mancini, de rossi n so on. & ofcoz increasing some salary will do. thats why i said, don easily sell players. but juan is quite ok pairing with mexes. sory bro for misunderstood.. cry.gif

nah, its ok. smile.gif

well althought we are no longer in any financial crisis, the club still need to work on stablizing the ship. anyway things are looking good for us now, as we're 1 of the only few teams in Serie A that hav positive balance since laz year.

Spalletti blasts arrogant Roma
Sunday 3 February, 2008

Luciano Spalletti blasted his Roma side for not turning up to their humiliating Siena defeat, complaining they cannot aim for the Scudetto with this attitude.

"It looks as if our minds simply weren't on the job, because in the second half the team reacted and showed the qualities we need," said the Coach after their 3-0 loss.

"Siena had desire and focus, so even if the table says we are the stronger side, we weren't ready to fight them on those terms."

It is the latest setback in the Scudetto race and leaves Inter eight points clear despite closing the gap to five points last weekend.

"If we have these stumbles on a regular basis, we cannot aim for a particularly important trophy, because this makes the difference. Siena fully deserved their victory."

Mario Beretta was beaming after the Tuscans' second home win of the campaign - their first ever over Roma at the Stadio Franchi.

"We played a great game and finally picked up points after impressing but came away empty handed," said the Siena boss.

"The team is consistent and I find that reassuring. We are very happy to have this result against a fantastic squad. We can only avoid relegation by playing like this, facing the small or big opponents the same way."

dont you guys have aquilani, totti, mancini, perotta, esposito, guily and a few others to do the attacking part? unless their injured... and de rossi can play both attacking and defensive so that should be a bonus? i kinda like cicinho icon_rolleyes.gif dont know how well is he performing though... and from then until now mexes and panucci has been a great asset in defense right?

its juz 1 of those matches that everything went wrong for us. we played badly, n thats it.

well still thats only the 2nd defeat we have in the league so far. of coz its frustrating that Inter once again hav pull away, but generally speaking we did pretty well in the league so far in overall. there is no need to push the panic button.

lets juz move on for the next match.

ah finally the boys go into action again 2nite. its been like forever they laz played. this time we'll host Reggina at home.

well lets talk abt something that is HOT among Romanista : Huntelaar's agent gave an interview to il Romanista, n he said that Roma is the only team in Italy that able to get his client !

holy cow, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar ? 1 of the hottest young striker that every big teams are aftering ? never thought that in any chance he can be linked wif us. i'm excited by this, but still i wouldnt put too much hope on it. Huntelaar is leaving Ajax, we all know that, n i'm sure a lot of teams out there can easily outbid us. unless the agent or Rosella or whoever can work some magic. biggrin.gif

anyway, Forza Roma... n Happy CNY to every1. smile.gif
