I am more worried about crowd troubles than the match itself. I just hope both set of supporters can show enough maturity.

Not just the supporters. I hope the riot police behave as well

Roma 3-0 Siena

w00t nice win for our 1st home game of the season. rclxms.gif

Aquilani once again scored a long range screamer to open up the scoreline... Giuly finally got his 1st, n Totti open up his account as well.

frankly speaking we didn't really play well. Siena was pretty dangerous n had several chances to grab a goal. good thing for us that Doni hav a fine game 2nite. the backline n our passing today were kinda poor by our standard.

seriously Aquilani is going to 1 hell of a player - not only he scored a beauty, he actually got his 2nd long range attempt hit the bar. n his defending were great too. Forza Alberto ! notworthy.gif

Great performance by Roma. If Roma and Juve win in week 3, we'll watch in glee as they face each other in week 4 at the Olimpico,

Reggina 0 - 2 Roma

another comfortable win that send us to the top now ! rclxms.gif

Juan made the perfect 1st ever start by scored a goal, n Totti grab another from a nice Cicinho assist. n Perrotta actually missed an empty net ! shakehead.gif Reggina was very poor by any means. they only got 1 shot on goal thru out the match.

the bad thing of the match is that Doni is injured n hav to replace by Curci. hope he's ok as i still not much confident in Curci. sweat.gif

so that maintain our 100% record so far... without letting in any goal yet. Forza Roma ! biggrin.gif

Tonetto is our 1st choice LB - he plays whenever its possible. Aquilani might gonna rotate with Pizarro since the later is coming back now.

n laz season Panucci scored more than Mexes... but he's injured now. doh.gif

as far as i know, Tonetto n Mexes would be guarantee starters. Juan most probably too after such as fine display, but his fitness still a concern. as for RB... who knows, i myself wish Cicinho start though.

Spalletti sees Kiev threat

www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia

user posted image

Roma boss Luciano Spalletti insists that his side have grown since last term's Champions League adventure, but he isn't underestimating Dynamo Kiev.

The Giallorossi begin their European campaign against Ukrainian champions Dynamo Kiev at the Stadio Olimpico tomorrow evening.

The pressure is on the capital club to take maximum points as they have been drawn with Manchester United and Sporting Lisbon.

However, Spalletti is taking nothing for granted and believes that his men could hardly have been given a tougher task.

"Dynamo are very fast up front and good on the break," he stressed. "We will need to attack, but without leaving ourselves open. Our group is very competitive and in my opinion the hardest one of all."

All eyes will be on how the Magica respond to their brutal 7-1 defeat against Manchester United in last term's competition.

"United are the strongest side in our group," the Tuscan tactician admitted. "But the 7-1 last year was taken as a lesson and we moved on from that immediately.

"This squad has grown a lot in the last two years and the public have noticed that."

It remains unclear whether Brazilian goalkeeper Alexander Doni will pass a late fitness test to take the gloves.

"Doni is getting better quickly, but he is still feeling some pain," Spalletti explained. "We will have to wait and see after training tomorrow."
