it's 0-0 at halftime...hv 2 compliment roma's defence...mexes-panucci partnership is doing well in da 1st 45 minutes...

90 mins...roma lost 1-0...chelsea scored from conner kick...we defended vy well i hv 2 say if we compared against last sunday...da whole squad worked hard tirelessly...

3 teams vying for 2nd place...seeing totti played da full match is encouraging, n brighi really starting to claim for his place in da 1st team. is aquilani injured? he asked 2 b sub out

talking bout hardworking, aquilani covred a lot of ground too same goes 2 taddei n others...with a steady back 4, it is fundamental for us 2 start winning...tough fixture against udinese.

yes we still hav good chance to qualify, but we must not slipped up against Cluj n Bordeaux.

well bad news now : Aquilani could be out up to 3 or 4 weeks. dammit. it seem that we'll never get away from any sort of injury crisis.

bad news 4 da squad...i suspect it's hamstring injury...he sort of pulled it n asked 2 b substituted immediately...our midfield is really short of cover at da moment

hmm...roma lost AGAIN...fans can put da blame anywhr...i want to take tottenham as reference...ramos was sacked n under the new manager, managed 2 get 1st win for da team...i hate to admit it, but usually in time like des, manager will usually get da boot...but i hope not, spaletti has been fantastic 4 us, sad 2 c if he got sacked.

injury crisis did played a some part in this hard time. Loria was brought in as our 4th choice CB, n yet we hav to start him bcoz of the absent of Juan, Mexes, n Panucci in some of the matches.
its not wise at all to sack Spal now. who can we find to replace him ? i dont see any suitable candidate for now. getting rid of Spal will throw us into another serious deep shit of 2004/05.

i still believe Spal is the most suitable guy to fix the problem for now. he had done great things for past 3 years, saved our ass literally when everything are in ruins. he deserves some backing now.

after the Udinese match...

perhaps we can expect some real changes from now on. mayb no more of 4-2-3-1 ?

i oso dun 1 2 c da coach leaves...but dis is da most common sitiation in futbal when results arent gud, coach wil get da boot. i hope da president wil remain patient. on da tactics, team knows how to play against our current tactics. they just not allow da midfield to get hold of possession n forced them 2 back passing to da defenders or make hurried passes. n de rossi has been playing deeper where as brighi has a more advanced role. i tot it was vice cersa

Yup, roma's real strikers are only totti and okaka..if roma want to use 2 strikers, totti would be surely play as 2nd striker..and the toughest question to answer is who will be the top striker?i think the best option is vucinic..but he is not a true striker himself..okaka is still too young..or can he be another balotelli? hmm.gif  hmm.gif i am not considering baptista now just yet..he still struggle to keep himself fit sad.gif  sad.gif

hmm, have okaka been given enough chances so far on the field this season?
*
haha...i dun think roma has an out n out striker...totti is those who play in da hole between attack n defence...aka 'trequartista' ...if u rmbr euro 2000, he excelled in dat position...since roma dun hv a typical no9, he has to play dat role.

For me it was the cross that made the goal. Under pressure he (who was that player btw?) still manages to whip it around the defender and puts it in that area between the backline and GK which makes it very hard to defend against.

Totti was doing juz fine. got some nice flicks n backheels here n there, not really significant, but its a good sign.

like the old saying : No Totti, No Party.  biggrin.gif
we got Bordeaux at home n away to Cluj next. things looks not bad for us now.

tv showed a banner wit dat words when totti was subbed off...hahah...dat group is still tight at da moment, but a win against chelsea will be decisive indeed
