Well, recently i see that my baby boy really likes to "read" books.
Ever since he was around 8 months we started giving him books and he loves them.

his mouth cant stop saying things while pointing or looking at the books.

I was wondering if there is a better place to get books for those 0 year olds to 3 year olds.

i got mine at Parkson and Popular. But not much choices, cant really find those thats suitable for my boy.

anyone has any other better places?

thanks ya

How about other book stores like Times, MPH, Borders?
BookXcess is really nice and prices are cheap. So far I've only been to the one in AmCorp Mall and SS15 Courtyard. Prefer the one in AmCorp Mall as it looks more extensive to me.
However, if you are OK with used books, you can also try joining those Facebook mummies group where they sometimes have members who either want to sell off books their kids do not want anymore, or even help you buy from overseas.

thanks guys.

I would have to say, depends on your kid. If he likes pictures, get those with bright attractive colors lor. Or you can also get those "interactive" types where there are flaps to open.
I think there shouldn't be any criteria, different types of books = more exposure.

well for example, for me, i will choose not too heavy books.
weight wise i mean.

also the pages are not easily torn. meaning thicker.

also with his favourites items inside. (he likes oranges, lorry, car etc)

also easy for him to hold. not too easy, so he learn to hold bigger, heavier books. but not too difficult until he fedup.

my baby just turned 1 year old, so these are the things i look for.

They grow up fast.

And their taste changes even faster.

you can give them toys and books suitable for their age.

it would enhance their capabilities and grasp on the world.
