Why 15454 ? Why cannot have a normal phone number ? Easier to remember but most (if not all) telcos consider this special number so higher charge. Why can't have 15454 and another normal number as alternative?
For example 03 CALL TNB (2255862) or 03 TNB HELP (8624357)
Yes, use landline call this number is normal rate , but during electric outage how to call using landline ? Are there landline phones that is powered by battery ? Do I need to buy one just so I can call them at normal rate during power outage ?

For those concerned : Yes, I am using cordless phone, because that's what provided for me during sign up

landline not affected by power outage, u remember that creature that fight with godzilla a while ago ? it able to send a giant wave of EMP, and landline still working. landline is super low tech, and super low tech thingy always work when high tech thingy no longer work.

btw cordless phone has battery, it uses the 12v from the landline to charge or with battery.

It has battery for the section only, the base which is connected to the mains and cable still needs to be powered, otherwise you'll have a functional dect that cannot make calls.
