Greeting,

2 weeks ago, I has upgraded my unifi to 100mbps and the technician changed my router to D-Link AC1200.
I doesn't have any internet connection or networking issue on wifi but I don't understand why everytime I connect my desktop with the LAN cable to the router, it always need to restart the desktop few round only manage to connected to the network. And it took at least 3 mins.
Another option to connect to the network / internet is to restart the router..

So, I wonder did anyone experienced this issue before?
Hopefully someone can provide suggestion or solution. (Except buying new router.. tongue.gif )

Thank you.

Regards,
Gin

That is not D-Link, that is TP-Link. Change router if you can, and see if the problem still occurs. If it does not, it would be the router.

Not sure how to update the router firmware.. but I read there is a risk if the firmware update failed, then I have to buy a new router..

Ah, my bad. Is it this one: https://www.dlink.com.my/product/ac1200-mu-...gigabit-router/

You should still try another router and see if that works.
