As the topic title,

Will the new SST will affects the price to end user on electronics items such as TVs?

Says TV RM8000, then 10% will be RM800 and 6% RM480

Yes, will kena SST when manufactured or imported into Malaysia. But you won't see it because its already included in the price.

6% is just for service industries such like KFC last time SST has 6%. however, I currently work in a car rental company supposed to be service industries company but last time this company never implement 6% service tax.

SST is one time tax on manufactured or imported goods in Malaysia. Consumers won't see or feel anything. It will be like pre-GST era but with better control from gomen.

Say the TV is RM 8000 selling at Best Electronics. The cost to produce is RM 6000. Add 10% SST and the final price sold to Best is RM 6600. Now, after that up to Best how much they want to profit. No more taxes from here on.
