I'm driving triton vgt gs since 4 years ago. Overall quite happy with it. Need to do small mod at the rear to smooth the ride.

Service and spare part so far no issue. Last year did some mod. Install alphatech ecu to increase horsepower and torque. Change rear and front bumper to steel one and sport rim.

Still very strong after 177,000 km and main usage is on highway every weekend jb-kl

all I can say... now many people use truck not for its 4WD but for its ganaz look... you go to any 4WD mod shop and you'll be surprised on how good the look of their mod... of course expensive...

truck has different type of attraction... when you drive it then you know... got power... got size... when you come out... people stop and give way... you can't get that with vios, camry or accord...

first mod must be the sport rim la... get 17" or larger... get the 265 tyer width... it will get your top speed down la... but the look is so ganaz....

Hows the OEM parts performance? can handle the torture?
*
I didn't really go hardcore lah... mostly 2 days 1 night looking for "food"... those were the days
I am a beginner, really scared la looking at others using tayar lipan go uphill during rainy season
but I was surprise at the capability of a modern day 4x4. I never got stuck... again not really hardcore lah...

They also wonder why I drove my brand new triton(still got plastic wrap) into the jungle...

betol la bro... ramai gak yg takut nak dekat... tapi
ada juga yg degil... cucuk rapat2... I don't care
you wanna rapat... rapat la... you kiss you kemek...

That's kind of feeling you get driving a truck... feeling
of indestructable... until you see a lorry la... bangwall.gif
