for low cost canal earphone, get creative ep630 or mylar variant. for higher end, go for shure, ety, UE. i'm thinking of getting super.fi5pro

anyone here tried futuresonic atrio m5 /m8 ?
many recommend it over super.fi5 or any other armature based IEM. atrio use dynamic driver but look pretty ugly imho |

QUOTE(AtMostFear @ Apr 16 2008, 10:35 AM) depend on type of driver. if it's dynamic driver, it will need burn in to loosen the membrane. for balanced armature, no need burn in.dynamic driver: mylar, cx300, ep630, atrio M series, etc balanced armature: UE SF5, shure series, ety series, etc <- generally mid-high end |

QUOTE(lucaswjk @ Jun 7 2008, 05:06 PM) wahh all sifu recommend me super high tech headset... PX100 is low end portable headset but with good sound production la. it's not yet consider high end.. kenot la what i need is a good headset for mobile, for handphone & ipod something like creative ep630 and mylar one xbi just wanted to know which is "pen, leng, cheng" not expensive but on par with the highend headset... if u want "super high tech headset" i recommend Bose QC3 lol. good sound with noise cancelling. dont forget the "good" price attached to it ep630, XBi, etc is IEM, not headset... not expensive but on par with highend pair? check my siggy for PK2. i dont think anyone will disagree This post has been edited by toughnut: Jun 7 2008, 06:42 PM |

QUOTE(lucaswjk @ Jun 7 2008, 06:55 PM) haha learn another subset of earphone... expensive? yuin pk2?? this is more expensive than in-ear type... going to google Added on June 7, 2008, 7:11 pm1) what is the lifetime for this pk2... i read somewhere mylar oni last few months, not sure... 2) require to burn-in? 3) cable moding? try shure se530pth or UE 11 IEM PK2 normally retailing usd79, around rm3xx here my mylar x3 already 3 years and no problem so far, even abused daily... all dynamic drivers required burn-in. balanced armature doesnt require. cable mod? IMHO, doesnt worth it. one cable can cost rm150 upward. that's when u will say that's expensive.. |
