The Koss ksc-75 is not a bassy phone. It will sound quite bright initially but with burn-in the treble will sound just nice while the bass would be just sufficient without an amp. I have not heard the Koss Spark Plug but from comments I would categorize it with the creative EP630. To my ears, the EP630 sounded very muddy but thats maybe what you want in terms of "high bass".

As for your headphone requirements, I would think the Philips SHP2700 which is the replacement model for SHP805. You can get them from davis for RM80. or you could add a lil' more to your budget and get the SHP8900. Apparently there are no price stated by davis so I think its best for you to pm him if you're interested.

my 580 + Move is great for trance/jpop haha. Madman's Beyer 990 is even better for trance with the Move lol. but Madman's recommendation of the A900 is great for one who doesn't wanna get involve with an amp smile.gif But I bet, with an amp, the AT will sound much better wink.gif

If you're planning on getting im716, be prepared to fork out more for a decent amp. Those im716 are incredibly hard to drive!
